I loved this line: Nick had no idea where Kevin got those sort of things, he usually pictured some filing cabinet in his brain labeled: “Quotes to Pull Out of My Ass” where he kept them, carefully labeled for any occasion. LMFAO!! Brilliant!! Again, loved this touching moment between Kevin and Nick... I truly miss the nuturing father figure we'd see in the group. :(

Wow, I love the lyrics to "Forget Me Not"!! Uh, remind me why YOU'RE not the writer behind BSB's music right now? LOL. But I'm glad AJ was finally able to come around, and it was nice for you to shed light on why AJ was acting the way he was, and for Nick to realize it himself and be okay with it. I hope AJ will be able to be there for Nick, like how he wants him to.
Author's Response: Thank you! I always second guess when I write lyrics for Nick lol. I can't write music, but with lyrics, I just try to write poems and then rearrange them to fit as lyrics. So again, thank you! As for AJ, it'll be hard, but he'll do it for Nick :)

I totally laughed my fucking ass off at reading that Nick's ringtone for Howie was the "Macarena"!! That's fucking great!! Lmao. And I love how the guys are going out to do things that most often reminds anyone of their younger years, though Nick drops some heavy shit on them. And the picture Howie tweeted of the little kid and the caption... fucking GENIUS!! Makes it all seem that much more real!!
I love how you genuinely shed light on Howie, from what he's done for the group years back, to how he's often the forgotten shadow of the group. We always tease poor Howard about it, lol. But I can't imagine how hard it must have been for him to tell the member he loves to pester the most! I seriously smiled and got a little emo upon reading the last line. Good, sweet Howie D. :)
Author's Response: LMAO Nick's sense of humor and random thoughts = mine. If I was friends with Howie, that would be his ringtone. I'm just that damn random LOL. Nick's definitely setting this up to reminisce with them before dropping the bomb. (Nick tweeted the pic, btw lol) Also a joke between me and Julie that I loved too much not to use. I love the Nick/Howie bond, Howie's always forgotten. But he's been that rock for Nick that people don't realize. He supported Nick with NON even when the others got mad, and they're cute together at the after parties. Howie is unappreciated so I know I gotta show him some love lol.

Aww man, I wonder why AJ's reacting the way he is! I mean, I didn't really expect him to take it as well as Brian or Kevin had, but at the same time, I didn't expect him to just flat out ignore it. But, Nick has a point... AJ reacted the same way he kinda did when he was first diagnosed. Maybe AJ will come to accept it in due time... I just hope he won't continue to push Nick away and make him feel like shit.
Author's Response: AJ...is big on denial. This is the same guy who believes Kevin will still come back. I didn't want everyone to just accept, and AJ would be the most likely to try and just deny it because the truth's too hard to take. :(

Wow. I love me some Nick and AJ moments, but this was just wow. You had my anticipation growing right with them, as if I were AJ... strapped in that roller coaster with Nick, riding on that cart upwards, slowly building, but on top of that anticipation was awaiting the news Nick would share with him. I truly felt as if I was being told for the first time what was wrong with Nick! That's how simple, yet vivid this chapter was! And the way you ended it, man... *quickly runs off to the next chapter*
Btw, I like that word... yoot. Perhaps I'll start using that word. ;) LOL!!
Author's Response: This chapter is one of my faves, looking back. Julie gave me the idea because I was stumped on how Nick would break it to AJ, and she suggested maybe a fair, or a rollercoaster. I fell in love with it, building it up just like a ride and then Nick saying it just before they plummet down...and I'm so glad it came off the way I pictured it before writing it. As for Yoot...that came from Mare lmao. I loved it enough to toss it in :)

Aww man, this chapter was SOOOOOOO sweet!! Having Brian sit outside the closed door, singing that Alvin song, and Nick willing himself not to laugh, and Brian taking it a step further by playing the guitar, and of course Nick eventually giving in and bust out laughing. The BEST way of depicting Frick and Frack antics and moments, seriously the best! I really loved it. I swear, the way you write Brian is making me love him more and more!!
Author's Response: I knew Brian would have to be the most comical way to handle it. I always wondered if Brian's sense of humor didn't also serve as a defense mechanism, so I felt this would be a good place for it lol. And come on, who could resist that? Thanks! I love Frick/Frack as you know, so I loved adding them throughout the story :).

This was my favorite line of the chapter: The child had his attention span, and he always loved teasing Kevin about how Kristen gave him a mini version of Nick to raise again. LOL. Love it!!
And man, I just knew when Nick walked out and Kevin followed, that Nick would rant about his feelings and that Brian would be there to hear it all. C'mon Nick, Brian's your best friend... you can't think that he won't follow you once you stalk off! But man, now that Brian knows, I'm anxious to see what'll happen now!
Author's Response: LMAO if you've seen pics of Mason, he reminds me (looks wise) of like a Kevin/Nick hybrid. I couldn't pass up the irony of Mason being Nick-like in personality and thus Kevin has a new one to raise hehe. And you would think Nick would know that about Brian, but Nick when he gets angry, tends to tune things out, like the voice of reason lol. And he needed something to prompt him to talk, so it's for the best Brian finds out this way. :)

Yes, good to know that there are a still few good people in the world and the girl didn't take advantage of Nick in the state he was in. It's a good thing she called AJ, because like it was stated, he's the only one that hasn't gone off on Nick. And, it's nice to know that AJ seems understanding and patient with all that Nick's going through, even though he doesn't know himself. Stays true to AJ's character of avoiding conflict!
But man, please Nick, pleeeeeeaaaaaassssssseeeeee tell them soon!! You're driving me crazy here!! Lol.
Author's Response: Exactly, there are some fans with some decency. Nick needed a break. AJ knows something is wrong, but he knows that it's not an addiction thing. He of all people would be able to spot it first, and yeah, AJ's not one for conflict LOL. Nick's stubbornness just causes more issues LOL.
