The continuation of Kevin and Nick's interaction is still tugging on my heartstrings; beautifully written!! And I simply LOVED how Nick decided to wake up Howard! Sooo fucking classic, lmao!! You gotta love when Nick picks on Howie! As for him running into Brian... if that were me, I'd be fucking piss that my breakfast is now all over me, but this is Brian... and I love how laid back and carefree he is! My two favorite lines of this chapter? "You look yummy by the way", "I'm magically delicious!" LMAO!! Loved this chapter. :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! LMAO I love picking on Howie, their bond is a little different and it's fun to explore that. I felt the need for comic relief after the emotional weight from Kevin lol. The best thing about Brian and Nick...there's no being too random LOL.

I seriously laughed my fucking ass off at reading the tidbit of Nick's comic book, "The Tales of Catepillar Man", lmfao!! And then I had a serious "aww" moment when he and Kevin hugged and Nick felt safe in that moment. I'd imagine those kind of Kevin hugs to make ANYONE feel safe! And that makes me miss him being in the group even more now! :(
I really love the interaction going on between Nick and Kevin, and though I giggled at the fact that Nick feels the two Kentucky cousins gang up on him, it was endearing! Of course Kevin's way will ALWAYS work, lmao. But shit, the ending of this chapter was hella emotional!! I'm glad Nick FINALLY told someone what is going on with him, but I felt bad that he was rambling on and apologizing. Poor kid. I love Nick and Kevin moments.

And I know, I want a Kevin hug :(. I'm so glad you enjoyed their bond, I was really nervous about this chapter because Kevin's the first one who finally gets to know what's going on with Nick.

Aw, I'm teary eyed :( Loved the ending. And how sad that he doesn't remember the boys at all or the Grammys. Great job with the story, Rose. I loved it even without the happy ending.

Awww...the part where he doesn't recognize Baylee is really sad. I'm sure the kids just don't understand :( And I love the honesty of Brian's feelings with blaming Nick. I can imagine it's something he would feel but never admit. Great job :)

Not every story has a happy ending. I love this line. It would have been so easy for you to have Nick "recover." After all, this is fiction. I'm so glad you didn't.
The realism and emotions in this story always kept my attention. At times, it was a difficult read and brought tears to my eyes and at times some joy and laughter.
