Another great chapter, Rose. The scene with Nick, Jane, and Leighanne was really emotional and well-done I think. Believable too. I loved the ending, it was a great visual. Leave it to Nick and Leslie to cause chaos like that. :p I can't wait for more as always.

Jane..well, no surprise there! Leslie..now THAT was sweet, specially that end scene. Very nicely done.
And I have ALWAYS thought that Les was Nick's twin just born a couple years too late. They are the only two Carter sibs (other than Nick and Aaron) who you can actually tell that are related. She really is the female version of him..lol
Author's Response: Thanks Jen! Yeah...Jane's to be expected, and as sad as it is, I can't force her to a place I can't naturally see her getting to, just for NIck :(. And I'm glad you liked Leslie's bit! That I can actually see, given the circumstances, and Nick deserved it. :). I'm glad you thought that too! Those two are almost identical, it freaks me out sometimes LOL. Even Aaron doesn't look that much like Nick anymore, he looks more like Bob these days. BJ looks like Jane. But Leslie's totally the female Nick, it's weird.

Awwww :( wow its getting worse fast! I loved Laurens message on the machine, she is so sweet to him. I can so see Nick thinking how he doesn't deserve her. Nick's mom coming should be VERY interesting to see. I loved Leighanne as well, she means well but its annoying how she always calls Brian "Husband"....still love her though. Can't wait for the next update Rose!
Author's Response: Definitely, and though I've been hinting at it, it was time to confirm it :(. Lauren's been awesome to him in real life, so I wanted that to translate in here, even though they're not together and haven't been in almost two years in this. Nick's mom, oh yeah, that's gonna be a story of it's own LOL. I'm glad you loved Leighanne! I love her, but yeah the "Husband" thing always bugged me too. But I try to write her to real life, and she does say that when referring to Brian LOL. Thanks Tracy!

Yay for the lyrics to Thrill Ride! Good job :) Great chap, Rose. The whole time I was waiting for the climax...it was giving me anxiety! lol. I love how Kevin is still the big brother trying to protect Nick. And I can't imagine how the Carters are going to act when they find out. I love how supportive the guys are being, even going to the performance with him. Can't wait for another update :)

This was so sad! I really loved his performance at the end, and I'm glad it went so smoothly. I could picture is perfectly as he made his announcement and everyone fell silent. It was really eerie - silence at a BSB concert/performance does not sit right and it would feel very odd! So I think you did a great job with that moment :) I also liked the journalist who attacked him.. lmao ;) Great chpater, Rose!

I can definitely see the silent moment as just stunned and awkward. Poor Nick :(. I couldn't see any other way for them to really react lol. You must have posted this right after I went to bed. Great chapter, Rose. Loved how you got the media involved. I could see them saying all of those things about him. I'm so glad he was able to get through his performance perfectly. I was worried he was going to forget everything. I actually was able to see the visual image of him standing there at the very end of the song holding his fist up in the air as the lights faded. That would have been a perfect ending place as well. I actually said, "Wow, I can see the credits rolling after that!" lol Also nicely done with the lyrics. You should try to make these real songs when you are done with the story. :O) Okay done babbling. Yay for you being ahead of schedule. Maybe you don't need 2 weeks between updates!

I was nice about the performance, I felt he did deserve one good moment LOL. I'm glad you could see that image! That's so what I was going for. I almost ended there...then was like...no, he needs to say the announcement LOL. (And actually originally that wasn't the ending place for the chapter either, but it felt right ending it there.). As sad as this chapter was, I had to LMAO at the "rabid fangirl" because I knew exactly who it was that you were talking about. I just about died laughing to the point where I cried lol. I'm sad Nick didn't get to tell his family anything before he told the world. I nearly choked when Nick but that girl's tongue, I couldn't help but cringe. LOL.
