Aw that must be so hard, facing the world and knowing you're not going to remember any of these moments is hard. Even during the interview, it must have been such a struggle for him to even get out what they wanted him to say about the album. Knowing he won't remember any of it soon is horrible, I wouldn't wish this on anybody. I do love Nick and Brian joking together, I think he is dealing with it better that he has someone around to talk to. Awesome chapter as always!
Author's Response: It's definitely a struggle, forgetting, knowing he is. He's basically going to have to live for the present, knowing he won't remember the past soon enough. :( But I think his goal is still to make sure he makes his mark the best way he can. I love Nick/Brian too, and I feel their defense mechanisms with the tough stuff are very similar, so having Brian helps. Thanks Tracy!

Aww, I loved this chapter! It was so heartbreaking, yet had plenty of humor, too - especially loved the digs at Drums, Paris, and Carson LOL. It was so sad to see Nick suddenly forget where he was and why, or the lyrics to his song, yet be totally aware that he was forgetting, too... that's gotta be the hardest part. I loved how Brian was there to help him out so subtly. Gotta love Frick. I love the album cover, too, especially the back - gorgeous! DRATW, DR!!!
Author's Response: Awwww thanks DR! I can't help myself, when I get a chance, I totally toss in digs at the douchebags I can't stand lmao. I think that's gotta be the hardest part of the stage he's right now. He's aware he's forgetting. Sad and tragic as it is, once he's no longer aware, it might be easier for Nick. (Just harder for everyone else). I love that Brian's there for him, it's my fave part of this story I think their relationship (and of course Nick/Kevin lol). Thanks about the covers, I feel like they sum up Nick pretty well hehe. :)

Aw damn this made me cry because you refer to Nick in the past tense. Although I knew from the start that it would end up sad it sounds like he died and that will really make the tears flow. I agree he will never know how many lives he has touched. Excellent story please keep up the great work. ANd send a box of tissues to your readers.

Aw, i'm so blonde that at first I thought this was an author's note from you talking about getting so into a story that you feel like you can't separate yourself from the characters lmao Dur! Now saying that, i'll unblonde myself and say very touching mini chapter and very creative too. I love when stories break that wall and give us something completely different and unexpected. That was so heartwrenching :( I wonder who is writing the story for Nick, I'm really intrigued! Before this I was thinking it might be Kevin, but the "journal entry for the fan club" and the general tons of the letter makes me think that it's Brian now.
