The scene with Angel was really touching. I liked how she knew Nick so well she was able to see right through his plan. I'm glad at least one of his siblings is sane, lol. Annie is such a lucky girl! I really liked the scene between the two of them, it was really sweet. It's good that he's reminded of the impact he's made on his fans lives. Greap chapter, Rose! It was so nice to see another update so quickly :D
Author's Response: I really do believe (from what I know as a fan) that Angel is pretty much the only sane one in the family besides Nick lol. Thanks! You know, I wasn't originally planning a fan encounter, but I dunno, it seemed fitting. I wonder sometimes if those Boys really know how much they've impacted their fans' lives, you know? Thankies! I make no promises on how quick the next update will be lol, but hopefully I can churn another one out pretty soon. :)

Yes Nick no matter how you end up you have defiantly made an impact on people through your music, environmentalism, and just being you. I really love this story. I have a feeling it will have a sad ending but it is worth it to read how it all happens. Keep up the excellent work.

Wow, I can't believe Lauren punched him! Poor Nickers :( This is so rough on him. I loved his conversation with AJ. Those guys go so well together. And the part with Jenn was also nice, but heartbreaking. Nick's first and last performance for his solo album..so sad. I loved the last line of this chapter, it summed everything up perfectly. Great chapter, Rose! Keep up the good work! :)
Author's Response: Neither can Nick lol. But in her defense it was because he basically one night standed her, and came up with (in her eyes) a ridiculous lie. Least till he proved it lol. Given that, I can't blame her as much. Its so heartbreaking thinking about Nick's final performance :( I'm so mean lol. Thanks so much!

So glad you finally updated this Rose! Wow Nick has a lot to deal with. Something tells me this performance is not going to go well. I love how Lauren reacted, it made me laugh for some reason. I also liked how he interacted with Jenn. Great chapter as always, looking forward to the next update!

Author's Response: Awww well that's a huge compliment :). One of my biggest worries is trying to keep this as realistic as possible. Thanks MA! Sorry it took so long, it's so hard to write about "Nearly mindless Nick" (Yeah, I'm twisted lmao) when he was so awesome on the cruise ya know? And then I get him singing "shake shake shake shake that ass" in my head...and well lol. But I am back and hopefully it won't take so long for me to update again. :)

So I finally got around to reading this one, since it's been on my to-read list forever! I'm so glad that I did, I'm really enjoying it so far. I love the way that you write the boys, you have a great handle on their personalities and they all seem very real. I also like the way you write in general. It flows really well and I just couldn't help but sit here and read this all in one shot. I love it! I really liked how Nick told all the guys separately. That seemed to make a lot of sense, espeically how he told Kevin first. That seemed like a very Nick thing to do, I thought. I really enjoyed all of their reactions, particularly Brian. I liked the part where Brian overheard Nick and Kevin talking at Christmas time, it was really well done and I felt as though I knew what Nick was feeling and going through at that moment. I also liked how continue to keep dropping hints in the story that Nick's condition is getting worse and worse, and yet everything keeps moving the plot forward. Sad at the beginning of this chapter with the last Backstreet show :( I am also curious to see what happens with this Lauren situation! Great story Rose! I really love it! I hope that you update soon :)
Author's Response: Wow, okay this has got to be one of my favorite reviews. Thank you so much! I try so hard to really bring their personalities into this as true to life as I can keep them. It took me awhile to figure out exactly how Nick was going to tell the others, Nick ended up deciding for me when he up and told Kevin lol. I'm just floored by all these compliments Steph, so really, thank you! Hopefully this'll finally be what motivates me. Oddly, seeing happy healthy Nick on the cruise made me wanna kill him less. Go figure LOL

Great chap!! The beginning was so sad. For Nick of course thinking of losing all those great memories of being on stage. But also for all the guys as BSB. It totally made me sad...great writing. The ending totally made me laugh. How scary to forget a week and a half but its funny to picture him locked in the bathroom calling Brian.
