Aw, this chapter had lots of laughs but also lots of sadness.
I loved Brian with the green comb over chasing Nick into AJ's room. I can imagine AJ up to all that kinky shit too.
Poor Nick :( I wonder what'll happen with Kevin there.

OMG Rose!!! This chapter was SO triple rainbow all the way!!! I love the way it started out so light and funny and then got SO dark and angsty! I was laughing my ass off at the beginning, especially with Brian's "balding green head" and god-knows-what was going on in AJ's room (LMFAO!!!!). But it was so sad when Nick forgot all that instantly, and then the last scene was just... wow... intense!! Poor Nick. :( It's totally understandable, how he's feeling... I think anyone would consider just ending it all on their terms, while they were still with it enough to do so. Obviously glad he didn't, though! And YAY, Kevin to the rescue!!! I freaking love it!!! This was probably my favorite chapter yet! More soon! :)

I feel so bad for what I'm putting Nick through, but it's also fun LOL. I think it's understandable too, cause he's only got two options. And I can see why ending it now would be incredibly tempting. What a great update, Rose! It was really sad to see Nick starting to go downhill. Seems like the guys don't even know how to handle it. LOVED the part with AJ! That was awesome and pretty rockstar of him. Lol. I love how you had them shocked after...it's like they couldn't even comprehend what they just saw.
The part where he's thinking about suicide is really sad. Loved the way you wrote him alone in the room at the end-very descriptive. Can't wait to see what'll happen next when Kevin talks to him.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah that's the thing, people know Nick doesn't know how to handle this, but really, the others don't know how to deal with this either. Despite everything, there's probably been a layer of denial this whole time. As Nick started to deteriorate, that's gonna give. LOL I'm glad you loved the part about AJ, if anyone was gonna be doing that it would have to be him. Thankies about the suicide scene. I feel like with Nick, suicide's always going to be lingering in his mind somewhere, how could it not be, given the situation? As sad as it is, it makes you wonder what you would do if you were in his place. We'll see what happens with Kevin now. He's been on my mind lately thanks to the interview and Oprah, so I felt the need to bring him back in.

Heavy stuff. Loved Brian chasing Nick into AJ's room...yikes. I'm glad I wasn't them because that was...wow. AJ is such a freak! I wanted to cry when Nick contemplated slitting his wrists...I have been there and chose not to do it either. I was surprised that Kevin showed up, I am interested to see how it pans out :) love daddy kevin! Amazing chapter as usual!

Good that they did that before he can't. And the memories are normal. I will be crying a lot when it starts to take him. Normal I guess. But thats why this is one of my favorites. Very lifelike. Keep the excellent updates coming.

LOL!!! Loved this chapter, so far its my favorite next to the rollercoaster one and the Christmas one. I can't believe Nick got Brian to go sky diving, loved Brian praying and not admitting he liked it. Nick and Baylee are cute together, I also liked how you kind of put the memories as Nick was playing with Baylee. I can't wait for the next chapter and the prank Nick is plotting! Should be fun! Great update!

LOL I also enjoyed the bittersweet feeling of the second half of your chapter with Nick playing video games with Baylee. I am going to be so sad when he starts forgetting things. Aww, I loved this chapter! As funny as Nick making Brian bungee jump was, my favorite was the last scene with Baylee, when Nick was flashing back to the similar moment with Brian. Very sweet! I wonder if he's going to confuse Baylee with Brian later on... my great-grandma who had Alzheimer's did that a lot. You have been a productive penguin with this story lately; keep it up, DR! :)
Author's Response: Awww thanks TR! :) You know, originally that scene didn't exist in my mind lol, but once I thought of it, I thought it'd be a nice way to flash back and wrap up after his bonding with Brian.
