Yoot for the update! :O) I'm so glad that you are finally letting the guys find out about Nick's condition and I loved how you chose to tell AJ. That was the perfect scene. Right before the roller coaster came shooting down. Kind of like how Nick is feeling himself. Very deep Rose! Excellent. I'm looking forward to Howie finding out!

WOW. Nick's family is crazy. I feel so bad for him in real life as well, that his real family is the guys. I relate to Nick because my own mother uses me like an ATM...I work 70 hours a week and she gets 90 percent of my money. I don't get along well with her either, so I can totally see how Nick feels about Jane. I feel the same way about my mom....and I also feel that angel is the only Carter besides Nick that has any heart at all. Aaron is the worst example, no wonder he didn't show up. On a happier note, I liked that Nick was drinking Mountain Dew...I am drinking it right now myself. I love code red too :) But still feel bad Nick has to deal with such a rotten family. Great update!

What a heartless ungrateful family! I really feel sorry for Nick, all he wants is a normal family and he's stuck with them. He'd be better off cutting them out of his life with the exception of Angel.

Author's Response: Those would be the Carters... sadly I wrote them how I see them based off of HOC and everything since then. You're completely right, he's better off without them, not including Angel. Too bad you can't pick your family huh? Thankies :)

aww whenever the Carters are invovled in a chapter, I usually run the other way but you did a great job of capturing all of Nick's anxiety and sadness when it comes to his family. I feel so bad for him, the real him. Sad that I could really see that scenerio happening and probably has on more than one occasion.
Author's Response: I know, part of me didn't want to. But at the same time, I couldn't ignore them and I knew it. I really feel bad for real life Nick, cause like you, I can see this happening in real life. I wrote it how I really think it is. Poor Nick, I wanna hug him lol. Thanks Mare, happy to see I was able to capture his emotions, I was struggling with this one cause I was trying to make sure I did that right. So thank you :)

I loved this chapter! Crazy Carter clan... parts with them are always sort of entertaining, but mostly just sad. This chapter made me sad for Nick. :( I hope he tells AJ and Howie soon so he can get the support he needs from his true family.
