Yay for the fact the tumor is shrinking! :) And while the choice Nick made is gonna bite him in the ass at some point I think, he's right in a sense. The time to tell the guys passed him up.
I LOVE the pouch she made for him lol. I want one now lol.
Loved the chapter, very DRATW :), I think it might even be a triple rainbow... definitely bright and sooo vivid hehe.

Hey Julie! I felt like reading a fanfic tonight and I remembered that you were updating this one like crazy in the summer so here I am. LOVING it so far. I really enjoy how you write Nick. He comes off with just the right amount of emotion but still that Carter charm shines through. Love it. I liked how you had Nick finding out about his cancer while watching Idol and comparing it to Cary getting voted off, saying his news was more devestating and then a few chapters later you had Cary make that same comparison. I am also really enjoying how you're incorporating Idol into this, even if it's just a bit. For whatever reason I really loved the past season of Idol so that's fun :) I love your writing and can't wait for an update. This story is so good.

I was on a roll with this story over the summer, and then school/work started again, and I haven't had much time or energy to write on it. I'm hoping to get some written this weekend, though; it's the first weekend I've had free in a few weeks. I'm glad you like the Idol stuff in it; I'm a huge Idol fan, but was afraid that would be a turn-off for people who don't watch it. It's not really a big part of the story or anything, just a plot device to lead to their meeting, but still - glad you've enjoyed the Idol references! :) Thanks again for reading and reviewing!!

Oh, silly Nicky-poo. So misguided. So going to get sick on tour and probably come close to death's door, knowing you! lol Glad I'm all caught up now :) I like that they're getting closer, and I like that I don't hate Cary the way I usually hate Nick's female leads. Even Claire made me want to punch her in her imaginary face sometimes lol

Another great chap, Julie. I wish he would tell the guys but all in due time, I'm sure. Very interested to see if he's going to end up going to NY and if so, I hope it's not to hard on him. If they cancel or postpone, I know it'll raise a slew of questions. Can't wait to see where you go with this.
The ending was really sweet with her crying. I can totally see where she's coming from. Especially being a fan, you know? Even though she's only known him for so long, she "knew" him for much longer. And it's hard when she's trying to help him.

Oh shit Nick should take it easy but he won't. Stubborn man. I think his brothers would wan to know but again too stubborn to tell them. I think they are getting closer. Which is a very good thing. He needs someone there that he can talk to.

Awwww you made me cry. I love Nick how he is in this story, he is so strong. I just love how he is written, he is so brave to want to go on tour even though he may hurt himself. Love it. Awesome chapter. I got to update mine now lol I have been putting it off
