Finally able to finish reading the chapter. Oh Julie, this was just so sad, especially when they sang 'Don't Wanna Lose You Now' and Brian took Nick's hand. I can just imagine the fans all crying as the lights came on, I would be one of them!
Fab as always, even if I have got tears rolling down my face.

oh my goodness... this was a very, very sad chapter. I'm sad that in Asia they will do it in Japan... that just gave us Filipino fans no chance to watch the boys' last concert 'cause it's so damn hard to get a Japan Visa. I am still hoping for the best for Nick... I miss your updates, Julie but at this point I am not sure if I want you to update again. I am still not ready for the story to end. Great job for this chapter, very well written. I could almost see the guys on stage, and it makes me more sad. :(
Author's Response: Aww... I didn't know that about Japan. It just seemed a likely place for them to go, since I know they like Japan and have done so well there. It was hard to pick one place for each continent! I know what you mean... I'm ready for this story to be finished, but I'm not sure I'm ready to actually write the ending, and I'm sure I'll miss it once it's over. You have the ability to take something sad & make it beautiful. Even though I have an idea how this will end I willingly
look forward to reading it. I would do things different than he did but I can see why he chose that way. He wants to go out on his terms. I do feel so sorry for Cary life without him will kill her unless she has something to remember him by. Would be funny if she was already pregnant. Either way I will read every word more than once until the very end. Excellent work from the first chapter. Will always be in the top 5 best fanfics ever written.

I am so excited to see a update for this story....and I loved the part where Nick days all he can say in German is "I love you" that was cute. I am a bit worried about him touring...he is really weak physically but I like that he is trying. The part where they sang "don't wanna lose you now" made me tear up. I can understand how it is hard on all of the guys and especially Cary to watch him dying. Great update and can't wait for more :)

*blinks back tears* You almost got me crying with Don't Wanna Lose You Now. I used to cry during that song all the time. Especially during Brian's part of the song.
I loved when Brian grabbed Nick's hand. So sad, so bittersweet, yet meaning SO much to both of them.

I couldn't resist and read this chapter in work...big mistake! OMG Julie, this was an amazing chapter but so sad to think that this is the end of the road for the band. When Nick was analyzing the lyrics to I'm Taking Off, it brought a lump to my throat. He's really going and nothing can be done to stop it :( When he told the guys to carry on without him, I knew what the answer would, there is no Backstreet Boys without Nick :(
