Oh god Julie, I'm trying to hold back the tears here at my desk in work! Sooooo sad, but we all knew it was coming I suppose. I love the idea of a final tour with all five of them and the fans picking the songs.

Ok you are one of my very favorite authors ever and one of the best on the net but you suck!! This is one of the only stories I have ever read that is sad but that I look forward to reading. I like the realism and honest human emotion you bring out. I can actually imagine what they are feeling Excellent work as always. Keep it up.

OMG Julie, I was fine until I saw the paragraph where Nick was realizing everything he'd done in his three decades on earth. That was when the tears came. I was even able to take the Boys reactions till then. Fantastic chapter ZDR!

OMFG what a cruel twist of fate that was! Poor Nick, no wonder he's given up wanting to try, if there is little chance of survival I think I'd rather just enjoy my last few months too :( And poor Cary too, she's goingto have to watch the man she loves go through hell again :( This is so sad Julie, I want to wave a magic wand over everything and make it all better, but unfortunately I can't :( I think I'll have to get the tissues ready for what's to come :(
But amazingly written chapter, you put so much detail into your stories and really make us readers believe every word of it.
Author's Response: I know. :( I wouldn't wanna just give up and die, but if I knew the odds were that bad and that I'd probably die anyway, I would probably do the same thing. Poor Nick, and poor Cary, too, is right. I don't know who this will be harder on. I would love to promise you a happy ending, because despite my love of sad things, I do love happy endings as well, but just like in real life, not every story ends well. Thanks so much for the compliment; as sick as it sounds, I've tried hard to write it realistically... but while I'm glad it's believable, I'm even more glad it's just a story and not real LOL. Oh man a rock just formed in my stomach. Nick just gave up and Cary is going all out to find a cure. I would do exactly as she is. I would love to see him go into permanent remission but I have a feeling I should buy stock in Kleenex. You suck buy I love you & this story. Keep up the excellent work.

Ok I kind of hate you a little cause you made me cry AGAIN.....I had a feeling this would happen. I said in my last review the cancer spread and I was right. Poor poor Nick. I don't blame him for not wanting any more treatment and wanting to just let nature take its course, but its so heartbreaking to see him decide that. I bet Cary is crushed. Loved the update.

FIRST! Sorry, I wanted to beat everyone else to this LMFAO. (I'm a nerd but that's why you love me...yes?). This chapter is epic, heartbreakingly epic. And like I said before, the fact you chose to go this route is just fantastic. It's sad, but the saddest stories are almost always the best ones. :). Also, magic muffin = WIN lmao. Your end note also made me laugh. Is that wrong? Probably is. Oh well, another reason you love me!
