Was so excited to see an email saying this had been updated! What a fantastic chapter too. I loved how they tried to make it fun when AJ was shaving his head, I can just imagine him coming all prepared and making a big thing of it. But when it was all done and Nick saw himself, that was so sad, but I'm glad he managed to put on a brave face and make a joke of it even though he felt far from happy.
Was good to see Kev, Brian and Howie visiting too. I think cancelling the cruise was the wise thing to do.
Can't wait for more, love it!!

Thanks SO much for the update, Julie. Poor Nick, it's sad that his hair has finally fallen out. I'm glad that he put a brave face on for the fans for the camera. I can't imagine how this is tearing him up inside. I'm glad that the other Boys and Kevin are there to support Nick. I'm always looking forward to another update with this, it's great.

Even though he's having a rough time, I'm happy to see he's still able to smile and have a bit of fun, like with the pan on his head! I can just imagine him tweeting that, spelling mistakes and all! But then, I can totally understand how the mood would change and he'd be feeling scared and vulnerable. I'm glad Cary is there for him.

Aww this chapter was so sad! And double awww that Cary loves Nick. It's unfortunate that this is all bringing back so many memories for Cary, but how could it not? Watching him go through all of this seems so hard for her and you have portrayed it really well. I liked the conversation she had with her Dad, I think she really needed to talk to someone about everything she was feeling too. Everyone needs someone to lean on, especially in situations like this. I also really liked the twitter bit with the Kernel. LOL I loved how he was aware of his grammar nazi followers and I loved how you put that bit in. Great chapter, Julie! looking forward to the next one!

Yeah she was the last one to realize she loved him. Funny her father knew before she did. I think Nick loves her too. As much as he is capable of it. If nothing else he has her. It really would suck for him to go through this alone. Excellent work as always. I can't wait to read more. Even though I want this to go on for a long time I want to read the end to see if he makes it.

I still have a little ways to go on this story, but I can almost guarantee it'll be done at some point over the summer, when I have more time to work on it consistently. Thanks for sticking with me! This chapter had so many emotions going on. I laughed first at Nick's antics but Cary telling her dad she loved Nick...the whole story about her mother...wow. So much to take in. I'm glad she told her father but I think she should tell Nick how she feels too, although I'm sure she is hesitant to due to his illness. I think Nick feels the same way but he's afraid as well. I wanted to hug him after the phone call with his mom, as far as his family is concerned, he has never had a good relationship with them. I can relate in a way. Cary is right, Nick shouldn't go through this on his own, I'm happy she is there to help him through this. Great chapter!

Sorry I took so long to read and review, but I'm here now! I liked how Nick was watching himself on Ellen during his treatment. I thought the interview was done very well and that Ellen seemed true to how her show is in real life. The fans tweets were a nice touch. Rose's tweet was epic lmao. The bit at the end was so bittersweet. I really like the support that Cary is giving to Nick - she's so good to him. Great chapter as always, Julie :)

It was hard to get started on it, but once I did, it came out very easily. I'm glad it seemed realistic. I loved Rose's tweet, hehe.
