Aww, such a sad chapter. I can imagine him lying there feeling like utter crap with the chemicals seeping into his body and he's watching the TV interview. I can also imagine his Twitter going crazy too! He only has to tweet and fans go crazy all day, lol! Loved that you included people from AC as Nick's tweeters :)
I agree about Hologram, such an amazing song and one which should've been on the TIU CD. I love to play it loud in my car and sing along :)

Poor Nick. :( LOL yeah, I can just imagine how insane Twitter would be; let's just be glad we only have engagement rumors to freak out about. That's a good thing! This made me smile, laugh and cry. Especially when you used real people from Twitter (where may I ask was I?????). And the interview sounded so real I could actually picture myself there. Makes me want this story to never end. ANd I wouldn't ever wear the flavor of chapstick again. Your writing talent astounds me. You are one of the very few writers I have seen that I think could actually make this your profession. Consider it. Excellent work on an amazing story.

LOL I actually tweeted on Sunday as I was writing this, asking for people to tweet so I didn't have to make them all up... so seriously, where were you?? LOL :) I'm glad you liked the interview; I had such a hard time getting it started, but once I did, I had a blast writing it. I could picture it and hear it so clearly in my head, it was almost freaking me out, but I'm glad it sounded real to you too. Thank you SO much for the huge compliment!! I could never write for a living because I would hate the deadlines and the pressure of actually HAVING to do it vs. just doing it for fun, but I would love to write an original novel someday and try to get it published; that would be cool. Author's Response: Thanks again for tweeting, and thanks for the review! :) I think she figured out what it was, actually, and that's why she stopped using that flavor of chapstick... Otherwise he'd forever associate it with vomit LOL. I was so not into writing that interview at first, which is why I kinda blew it off originally, but then once I got started, I had a blast writing it... I just had to get the flow going. It would be a good idea for him to check in somehow. Thanks again for the comments! :)

As I was reading the beginning of the chapter, I had to go and search YouTube for those videos as I'd never seen them. I have to agree about Kev being hot in his video, mmm, nice arms!!
Poor Nick though, must be awful not being able to get comfortable because of the pain and the thought of what's to come. I'm glad the massage seemed to help him though and that he eventually got to sleep.

Can you imagine the Backstreet Boys actually having COMMERCIALS on TV to PROMOTE A NEW ALBUM nowadays? LOL But back then they really were Larger Than Life! I just loved the ending of this chapter, it's like that saying: "actions speak louder than words".. I love how their relationship is filled with actions and support and not big words! Nick is lucky to have Cary with him, a person who care for him, but also know the cold hard truth about his cancer and can answer his questions.. as for the video you added, that brings back really good memorys of 99, me and me best friend and the big TRL interview on repeat everyday for two weeks.. :)

Cary isn't that outgoing, and Nick has been pretty closed off about his feelings, so you're right that the support does come more from their actions than their words. Loved the countdown is on bit at the beginning of this! I will be watching the linked videos after I finish writing this review. Good times in 1999 :) I feel so bad for Nick and Cary in this chapter. Nick is clearly so worried about his transplant and the chemo, and Cary is trying so hard to be strong for him. I liked the part where she was massaging him, it seemed like it was helping to release some of the worry and stress on both sides. I hope everything goes well for Nick with his chemo and of course the Ellen show. Great chapter, Julie!
