Maybe that 'stranger' isn't a stranger to him, could be someone he know? ;)
Thanks for the updates, keep them coming. I always get excited to see the banner of Curtain Call and see that you posted a new chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks, Paula! :) So glad you're still enjoying it so much! I always appreciate your reviews. As for your prediction... we shall see. :)

I had a feeling that she was going to be pregnant and the only match, such a shame :( I don't blame Nick for not wanting to get his mum tested, she'd probably do all of those things to bring attention to herself like that.
Can't wait for more! I hope the other way works out for him.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Steph! LOL as soon as I realized the timing of Leslie announcing she was pregnant in real life matched up perfectly with where the story was now, I figured that would be the perfect way to go with it. I could see Jane doing all of those things, too. Ugh. Hopefully I'll have another chapter ready to post this weekend. Thanks again! :)

Oh no, they don´t have a donor, but hey, Nick is strong and he will be "cured". I knew that Leslie is pregnant! *lol* Great chapter! ~Franzi~
Author's Response: Thanks, Franzi!! Hopefully the other option will work out for him. Glad you enjoyed the chapter! :)

Just catching up finally! Loved these two chapters I've just read. Can't blame Cary for liking the tall, dark and handsome Kevin, I do too :)
I think Nick has chosen the best option in the long run and I liked the head lice example to explain it to him. It's going to be rough, but worth it if it cures it.
Author's Response: Thanks, Steph! Glad you're still enjoying it. I wish I could meet Kevin someday; I bet he's totally charming in person. :) Hopefully taking the hard road will pay off for Nick. Thanks for reading and reviewing!! :)

I figured that Leslie would be pregnant. And I totally understand why he doesn't want to ask his parents. Hope this procedure will go fine. Great update, with all those diffrent emotions........
Author's Response: Thanks!! I was dreading writing the Carter clan, but I actually really enjoyed this chapter. I'm glad you did, too!

I'm sad that niether of the brothers can do the transplant. I hope Nick can find someone soon! Can't wait for more, thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Aww, I know, but I guess the odds weren't really in his favor. His plan is to go ahead with the other kind of transplant, which doesn't require a donor, so hopefully that will work out for him. Thanks for the review, Victoria! :)

Great chap, Julie. I think you did a great job explaining each sibling and their reactions. And yay for Lesliie being pregnant but wow...what a conundrum! Poor thing for being upset about it. I was cracking up about Aaron being a douche and looking like a jackass. LOL. Can't wait to see where you'll go with this and the potential donors!
Author's Response: Thanks, Sel! I actually had more fun writing the Carter clan than I thought I would, so I'm glad it came across well. The whole Leslie conundrum just fell into my hands when I realized that this was right when she announced she was pregnant in real life, and that pregnant women can't donate bone marrow or stem cells. So why not make her the only match? Hahaha. I love the drama. I enjoyed writing Aaron as the douche he is, too. That's a change from when we used to all write him as the cute little brother. No more. Glad you enjoyed the chapter, and thanks, as always, for the review! :)

The Carter Clan....I think you got them all down pretty well. I really like how you wrote Leslie. :) I also loved all the side digs at Aaron LOL. It's not hard to make him look like a douchebag, he does all the work himself! Hehe. That bit about Jane at the end, OMG that's so how she would react if she was Nick's done. Gag me with a spoon lol.
You did a great job DR! Totally loved it.
Author's Response: Thanks, ZDR!! I enjoyed writing both Leslie and Aaron... Leslie because I like her and find her easy to relate to, and Aaron because he's a douche, so that was fun LOL. I'm glad you thought they seemed realistic. And yeah, that's so how I could see Jane reacting too LOL.

I KNEW Leslie was pregnant!!!! Soon as he said she was glowing, I knew! Lol. Figured it'd be her to match.
Oye vey Carter. You have just GOT to be A-Ok from here on out!!!!!
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!
~Lenni~
Author's Response: Thanks, Lenni! She's preggers in real life, and the timing just happened to work out perfectly that she announced it right when the story is taking place. When I found out they won't let pregnant women donate bone marrow or stem cells, I knew I had to use that. ;) LOL Thanks again for the review! :)

Of course Nick doesn't go with the more promising option...I have a feeling that despite a bone marrow transplant, his cancer will come back. What can I say? Drama makes people read. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. But at the same time, Nick is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Either bone marrow transplant option is dangerous and has no 100% guarantee of being cancer-free for the rest of his life. He's gotta make a decision regardless. A great update regardless.
Author's Response: Thanks MA! Yeah, he really is between a rock and a hard place. Tough decisions to be made. There are definitely no guarantees. Glad you liked the update - thanks for the review!

UGH I hate Aaron he's so arrogant. I loved how you wrote him Julie. I hope that Nick finds a donor soon, and that his cancer doesn't relapse.
Author's Response: Thanks Tracy! His recent actions provided good inspiration LOL.

I liked how Kevin was in there right away acting as Nick's older brother, like he'd never left. I think it's very sweet the relationship they have. And finally Nick (somewhat) comes to his senses and realizes that getting the treatment he needs is more important than a tour. I wonder how the media/fans and his family will react to this. The little hand holding scene with Cary and Nick was cute at the end. Could those two be any more adorable? lol. Awesome chapter, Julie!
Author's Response: Thanks, Steph! I love writing Kevin that way; it's nice to finally get him into the story to be Nick's big brother LOL. It's good that Nick has people around him to help him back better decisions now, too. I'm glad you liked the Nick/Cary moment at the end - thanks! :) The media/fan stuff will be coming up within a few chapters, I think. I finished 59 today and am getting ready to post that now. Thanks again for the review!

Yay, Kevin is there! *lol* I am so happy that Nick is doing the transplant and that he has the guys and Cary for support there. Great chapter! :) ~Franzi~
Author's Response: Thanks Franzi! It's definitely good he's got some support now. Glad you liked the chapter! :)

Stuborn boy he is! Great update, although the accent of the doctor is slightly anoying LOL
I picture him sitting at the table with his stern look.
Author's Response: LOL I was kind of amused and slightly annoyed with the doctor's accent too. It was just something to add some humor to the chapter, since it was so dry otherwise. Glad you liked the update overall - thanks!! :)

I loved the description of all the Boys' singing quirks. I could just picture every one of them, from Nick's hair raking to Brian's heart patting. It made me smile!
I don't really watch A.I. except for a season I caught way back when, but Randy is such a d-bag!! =o
Author's Response: Aww, yay! I think it's cute they all have their little quirks, and I love when they imitate each other. I watch AI every year, but I'm with you - Randy's always been my least favorite judge. He doesn't even make sense half the time. I miss Simon. Thanks for the review! :)
