Awwwww I think this chapter was adorable. I love Nick's POV just cause he's a little shit, by being such a tease...and you have that come across so well.
I also love that line about Nick wanting the nuke. Gotta love him lol. And very cute, Nick asking Cary to come out there to be with her. :).

Cary joking around with him about the hot water was really cute. I enjoyed all of Nick's little flirtatious thoughts in this chapter. And cute that they napped together! Go Cary, I would have been way too shy to suggest that at all lol. I'm glad that they finally had a chance to have the serious conversation about Nick's treatments too. It was good that Cary was able to put it into perspective for him and give him a way to be able to understand his options better. I hope that Nick is able to make the choice that feels right for him. And very sweet of him at the end to ask her to come stay with him if he does the transplant. This was a great chapter, Julie! Lots of sweet moments and of course the important scene at the end. Loved it!
Author's Response: Thanks Steph!! I think Cary is coming out of her shell more now that she sees there's a spark there for Nick, too. Their relationship is so weird; in some ways, they should be really comfortable around each other by now, but in other ways, it's still really awkward LOL. I'm glad I got the serious conversation out of the way in this chapter; I didn't want it to be all fluff. I'm glad you thought it was sweet! Thank you!! :)

Awww all this stuff is so cute. Thanks for the mental image of Nick in the towel acting like a gay man rotflol. I love how he got excited over Cary possibly changing in the room while he slept. I was also surprised she was flirting back, though not all that surprised. I just liked how you made both of them in this story, and I am glad Nick asked her for her opinion. Hopefully he makes the right decision. Awesome update!

Oh you are evil for putting that "And then I woke up" line in there, LOL! Good thing she was just kidding! They are just too adorable. And I can understand where Cary is coming from, feeling like Nick maybe did that because he felt he owed her, I'm glad that wasn't the reason though. I liked the part where she was describing them laying there are just talking quietly. Also liked how they held hands during the walk. So cute, so cute, so flippin cute! I am such a cheesy Nick romance fan at heart and you are writing it wonderfully, Julie! I'm excited to see how their relationship will progress :)

Aw, I love them together! They're like teenagers with the blushing and the hiding. Haha. And I love the whole atmosphere with the walk and whatnot. The ending was really sweet. Can't wait to see what'll happen when he goes back!

This was so freaking cute. That whole "wow" part when they kissed reminded me of a story of mine lol It seems like a Nick thing to do. Loving the romance aspect of this chapter and Nick's reasoning behind kissing her. It was adorable how they cuddled one another. So sweet and made me "awwww". Great update Julie!
