Awwwwww this was totally cute. As I already told you JUST now lol, my fave line of course is the PDA one LMFAO because it is just so epic.
No I like the simplicity in this chapter, how this relationship is really at a slow start in terms of the romantic end, but it's fitting that it is. There's just two much between them, connecting them, to have it be otherwise. Loved it DR. *looks around* *sings* Call ground control cause something's wrooooooong....
Author's Response: Aww, thanks DR!! LOL I'm glad you liked the PDA line; it was my favorite too. ;) Thanks so much. I think sweet and simple works well for them right now, given the circumstances... I think it would be a little awkward for both of them to jump head first into this big romantic relationship. Cary certainly likes him a lot, but it's not in her character to take the plunge like that, and Nick's dealing with his own issues. I think they will need to take it slow and test the waters first to see how they really feel about each other. Girl, is AC acting like an alieeeen?

I loved the way you added the lyrics from I'm Taking Off in the beginning of the chapter. It was sad when Nick was thinking of how he may not be around, but liked that he is staying positive about his life and is going to life it to the full. That was a lovely thing for Cary to do, with his name. And all the talk of lying under the stars at night is so romantic. I can't wait to see what happens between them in the next chapter.

Aww that chapter was great Julie. Me and my friend take part in something a little similar called Race for Life, where we wear t-shirts with something written on them and walk or run 5 miles to raise money for cancer research. It's always in this big park in Cardiff and there's other stuff going on too.

It's been a while since I reviewed, so let me see if I can find a way to sum up anything I've wanted to say but haven't had the chance to(sorry if I've actually said some of this and forgot lol):
THANK GOD HE TOLD THE GUYS.
Poor Kevin, I can only imagine how that must feel to get that news. The way you've written the guys' reactions seems very true to how they'd really react if, God forbid, this situation ever happened.
Now he just needs to tell his family! More concerned with him telling his sibs than his parents, since it's likely to be less drama--not drama free though--without Jane and Bob.
And now I'll skip some of the Nick/Cary comments I had and just go with: YAY ITS ABOUT TIME HE FIGURED IT OUT AND KISSED HER!
But DAMN YOU FOR THE CLIFFHANGER! lol. I can't wait to see Cary's reaction to this.

It was nice to finally have him tell them. I appreciate your compliment about the guys' reactions. Who knows what they'd really do and say, but I tried to write them the best I could. His family will be next... haha, that should be interesting to write too. And yay, the kiss! I'm gonna try to finish the next chapter today; we'll see.
