The scary thing about this story is how realistic it is and could be. The way you weave actual events into the fictitious ones brings the story to a new level. I absolutely love Cary as a character too, she reminds me of one of my greatest friends. And I've noticed in most of your chapters, you always remind the reader of what they're really doing here. It doesn't matter how much fun they're having, or who they're fooling because at the end of the day, they're still keeping a secret.
Author's Response: Thanks! That's what I'm going for... I'm a stickler for realism, so even though the premise is obviously fictional (thank goodness), I always try to keep it as reality-based as I can. Usually my stories are set in the future, but it's kinda fun writing about things that have already happened recently, but with this fanfic twist. I'm so glad you like Cary; that means a lot to me. I don't think it's easy to create an original character, especially a female lead, who is actually original and not just a repeat of other characters I've written or a self-insert, but it's something I've really been trying to work on with the last few stories I've written. And yeah... I like chapters like this that are a little lighter and fluffier and have some comic relief, but at the end of the day, the story's still a drama, and I don't want anyone to forget the conflict at the heart of it - not that you really would LOL. Thanks for another awesome review, Sevily!! :)

I like how you add in real things that have happened, that's a nice touch. I was also surprised when the syringe rolled over and AJ picked it up! Gah, good on Cary for being able to think quickly. That part had me really worried! Eventually the other guys are going to get suspicious if too many weird things start happening. And aww Nick makes her happy. Too cute. Great chapter, Julie! Still loving this :)

Loved this chap! OMG, my heart skipped a beat when AJ walked in when she had the needle in her hand. That was a close call. Damn, the boys are gonna be so pissed when they find out the truth! And loved the two videos you described, I love how you're mixing in real life events! That Masquerade video is funny...I've never seen it, and the Michael McDonald video is one of the best! When I first saw it, I probably watched it about a hundred times and could not stop laughing.

I discovered the Masquerade one when I was watching the Shattered one over and over again and thought that was pretty funny too... poor Howie LOL; Nick is so obnoxious to him.
