Omg lmfao I nearly died laughing at the fan encounter because as I read the description I knew instantly who it was. Hmmmm ;) gotta love psycho dog girl! Love the zombieland talk, still haven't seen it. I feel bad for Nick, its gonna get really hard to hide the illness and I'm waiting for someone to figure it out. Awesome chapter!

We were reading a book about the Mayflower in my reading groups this week, and of course I had to give them a chance to giggle over the "poop house"/poop deck on the labeled diagram of the ship LOL. I've always thought cancer treatment was strange. People always feel fine until they are on the treatment then they feel sick.

I'm such a cheese fiend...lol! I absolutely LOVE the chemistry between Nick and Cary. They play off each other so nicely. And the way you described the opening act..I swear to GOD you threw me right back into the audience of one of the shows I went to. Every, single detail was included of the opening of the show..nicely done!
The eyedrop scene was just too precious. I do believe Nickolas is starting, right there, to delelop a lil somethin somthin for Ms. Cary only he doesn't realize it yet. And OMFG! I've wanted to ask him that eyebrow question for so damn long! He HAS to do something with those babies...no way in HELL ANYONE has THAT perfect of an eyebrow without being maintained! If so, he's one luck bastard! I'd KILL for those things!

Not that the cheesy Broken route is a bad thing, necessarily, but I've been trying to avoid it in this one. I think it's unavoidable, though, at some point. Anyway, I'm glad you like their chemistry - thanks!! And yeah, I was having myself a fun little nostalgia trip watching concert videos to write that part! I've always wanted to ask Nick the eyebrow question too, LMAO. They are SO perfect! I tend to write long stories, and although I have an idea of where this one is going and know basically how it ends, it's hard to guess how long it will take. i feel so sorry for him... it must be hard, to perform a show... hard, to act strong, when you actually feel weak and tired... but it seems like, he has his role played well, still no one has noticed something ...

Author's Response: Thank you, Mel! :) I do think it would be very hard, but I also think, if anyone could do it, Nick could. It comes with being such a seasoned performer; he knows how to get the adrenaline going and go out there and put on the best show he can, even though he feels awful. I'm glad you're liking Nick and Cary together! I like writing scenes with just the two of them. And yes... I've always been jealous of Nick's eyebrows, but they are so sexy!! LOL Thanks again for the review!!!
