I hope Nicky makes it through the show okay. I'm sure he'll be able to pull off this facade for a little while longer. But, jeez. I am immensely worried about him & his well-being. I want to make him take care of himself first, & to forget us fans & such. But, as I've said before, I can see why he wants to do it so badly too. Because who knows if the chemo will work, even if he does stay home. And if it doesn't, he wants to go down doing what he loves.

Wow double updates....so beautiful...what could they mean?! Loving these last two Cary chapters, she is in such an awkward position and I want to kick Nick for embarrassing her like that! You can so tell that Brian doesn't approve of her being in his room, and I loved her observations on the guys and their wives. Now that tour is starting this will be Nick's real test. i can already tell he will not be able to keep this a secret from the guys much longer, it will be difficult once they are on the road together. Awesome update!

Author's Response: Thanks Sevily! I'll be honest; I don't know for sure either. I have an idea of where it might go, but I'm trying to let the characters decide for themselves with this one. Whatever direction they take me in, I'm prepared to go with. That's a new kind of experiment for me, cause usually I'm a planner, so we'll see how it all turns out LOL. As I just told you lol, Cary's in the most awkward position on the planet. Makes me feel bad for her cause Nick's SO using that to his advantage. That said, I loved it. Totally loved it. :)

Aw great chapter! I loved the whole teasing each other part and how it ended up turned on Howie in the end :) I love Glee too and sing along with the songs, lol.
Nick had a lucky escape there, but I don't think they'll buy it for long, unless he starts to feel better soon and finds some energy from somewhere. Or maybe when their families arrive, they'll be too wrapped up to notice how Nick is.

Great writing Julie! I loved the ending. Lots of funny stuff throughout the chap...it was great to have some light moments in here. Especially like the part where they're joking around about them banging the opening acts and then Howie points out Leighanne. LOL. Good stuff. I can imagine that Nick will continue to be very tired, and I can't wait to see how the guys will react. Thanks for updating!

Hah.. I loved all the Glee talk! It was a nice contrast to the serious ending of this chapter. I love how you write Nick's inner thoughts, he is going through so much yet he still manages to be that same Nick that we all know. I hope he does okay once they start rehearsing and touring, especially since this acoustic show seemed to take it right out of him. Great update, Julie! Looking forward to the next one :)
