I haven't even been up for 20 minutes yet, but I'm sitting here bawling like a baby. First, I'm laughing, smirking at just how sneeky and funny Zoe is then BAM!! Tears are flowing. This was the sweetest chapter! I can't wait to hear more of the backstory of Zoe, of David and the son she lost. I love the character of Zoe..she's a tough ol bird but a fierce mother when it comes to her cubs. A strong character indeed.

You already know how much this story has me addicted...cuz I bug you all the time..lol It's just amazing what all has happened, how much he's changed in just a short 112 chapters. This story has become one of my favs of yours. Great job on making the readers feel the emotions..making it feel real.

Author's Response: I adore Zoe for her ferocity with her "kids"... she's one of my favorite characters I've ever written. Nick has changed a lot over the chapters. He was immature and ridiculous and angry in the beginning and has slowly grown up over the course of the story, which has been fun to explore. I mean he's still got a long way to go. But that's true about the REAL Nick, too. Just look how much Nick's changed over the past few years since Kevin left the band. He's grown up and learned to respect himself and his brothers far more than he used to. We've literally watched Nick Carter grow up, and he's gained MY respect, at the very least, for the development he's shown. As Zoe points out in this chapter, Nick IS a strong, beautiful person, he IS a good kid. I'm glad that you can see the development in the story because Nick's change from page 1 to page...whatever it is now... is the major, overall point of the story of Fix, more than any of the other parts of the line. Zoe and Nick, after all, despite the drama with Krystal, Kayla, AJ and etc etc, are ultimately the main characters and have been all along. Their relationship and the changes resultant to them are ultimately what Fix is meant to be about because their relationship is the kind that changes people more than romantic ones (ie., Kayla's relationship with him) ever could.

I can't even describe the way I felt reading this chapter. The way you wrote it...its...poetic? I'm not even sure of the right word to use. It was just beautifully written. The way you wrote him recollecting what had happened. Girlfriend, you have such a gift, it amazes me. Great, GREAT chapter here.....
