Wow...I cannot believe how behind I got on this story. This chapter was very sad but the end was sweet I'm glad that Nick has Zoe and Kayla in his life.
Author's Response: I'm trying to remember Chapter 53. *goes and reads quickly then returns to finish response* Ohhhh yes. This was one of my favorite chapters. The scene in the bedroom there when Zoe brings in the Advil was one of my favorite Nick-Zoe moments. My very favorite is in chapter 76, though. This moment in Chapter 53 is a close second. :) Thank you for the review!!!

Oh dammit all to hell this one made me cry harder than the last one did. When he said "Thank You" to her that got me. His family is so screwed up that he isn't used to parental love. And when Zoe thought about Davey dieing I cried harder. I think he was her son. Excellent chapter. All I can say is that man deserves some happiness after all of this. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: According to all the info I gathered about house arrest, they can actually restrict him to a certain number of hours of visiting time and/or keep him from having any at all if need be. They can also shut entertainment outlets off completely (ie, cable, internet) or restrict the time it is used. They also would've taken his cell phone away. Its actually amazing how strict they can be, especially in the situation where he should technically be in the actual jail.
