Thankfully they are making progress towards being good parents. Hopefully in the future they can become friends again. Now Brian is seeing things from her pov. As I stood there thinking about a dog of all things, Kenzie jogged down the stairs. Her exquisite eyes widened in surprise. ^

Tears welled in her eyes. Her chest heaved.
"I lied to you," she said. "I didn't slip on eggs and hit my head. I pulled out all the stuff my dad had thought that I had gotten rid of and did a dream spell. I was sick of being alone."
This didn't surprise me. From the moment I saw the article it was as if I just knew.
