A very good chapter. Something tells me that Ally will really be useful in helping these kids. I totally relate to Ally feeling self-conscious, I'm disabled too and it is nervy meeting new people or explaining what's "wrong". Great update.

Author's Response: haha well Mason lived with them for awhile after Brenna was born. I'm sure poor Ally's been crushing on him awhile now!

Great update. Brenna is too adorable. As much as I didn't like the name at first, it totally suits her. :) lol at Mason "flirting" with Ally.
Question: A lot of speaking deaf people have speech impediments due to delayed speech. Does Ally have one? Just trying to "get into" the character. I can't believe I didn't ask this before.
Author's Response: I can't imagine her NOT being called Brenna now. :) You'll find out about the speech impediment in the next few chapters. I haven't made it a big deal right now because as family, you don't point it out - you get used to it. But people that don't know you...that's a different story.
