Thanks for the update, Mare. I love the fact that regardless of how "dark" a chapter is, you usually are able to supply some comic relief. I loved the Nyquil story by AJ. I was just talking to a colleague this week and telling her how one of my cousins would give her child Benadryl to get her to take a nap.
I keep going over the chapter title with this one and I don't think AJ's secrets are really dark. I just think that the future looks a little bleak.

Oh no, Nick is getting worse and its making me antsy. I love how AJ is afraid just like the rest of them and the part about whether bsb would survive without the cute blonde made me laugh. Loved this chapter, can't wait until next week.

This is a neat chapter. Finally we're back to Nick. I really enjoyed the crossover memories, poor Nick, that's gotta be a confusing as heck nightmare. It came across well yet I could still follow what was going on. I'm all caught up! Yay!

Pelham Bay sounds like such a good name for a internment camp, or just an all around scary place to go. It has like a Shutter Island feel or something,. It's cool how he's having visions from the other Nick, because I was sitting there thinking about how on earth they were going to be able to find him, but now with Nick seeing the other's life, that's a pretty clever way of doing it. I like the way you wrote his disorientation in the beginning too, it was very realistic or made the reader feel like he did as well, which was great.

Author's Response: Pehlam Bay is actually a section of the Bronx in New York where I grew up but yes it does also kind of sound like a cool name for a camp which is why I chose it. LOL and thanks for the compliment concerning how to find the other Nick. I was having a hard time with that until the lightbulb went off in my head. Thanks Sam! :O)

Ooooooh my, leave it to Nick to come up with magic goat's milk! Lmao. I love how this chapter was serious, yet classic Nick humor and the banter between him and the two cousins shown through. Poor Nicky. And ooooh my, I just thought... it would suck ass if they found the "other Nick", and they got their actual Nick mixed up with the alternate universe Nick, and then my my... how would they know which NICK to kill?!? O__O That's a scary thought, and I hope you don't do that to us girl! LMAO!! But, I really wanted to pinch Nick's cheeks in this chapter, sucha cutie!! This was a great update Mare, I squealed with delight when I saw it as the first story under the recently updated, lol. Can't wait for the next chapter!! :)

It was originally going to be an AJ one that was dark but he can wait another chapter and Nick was the one that I could make light and funny. No worries, he's too weak to join the guys on their journey to kill the other Nick and besides, he'd probably be too worried about his head exploding! LOL thanks Reb! :O)
