I'm sitting here reading this during the hurricane...lol. wow that was intense. I have a feeling Nick won't stay hidden for long, he is easily recognized and I am sure that will come into play at some point. This is a very interesting story, I love it :) hope you stay safe too, Mare!

Great chapter Mare! I know there was a lot of swearing, but it was realistic and fitted the chapter. I'm curious about what the others were like in this alternate world.
I also never swear in real life, maybe the odd 'shit' here and there.

I am so glad for the update! I think this AJ is very realistic. I see it as a culmination of all the fear and frustration he's feeling. Now, the idea that he has "gained" some of the traits of the AJ of this current universe is interesting. And I find myself asking some of the same questions as AJ: will the others "gain" traits from their counterparts? and what of Nick? is his "double" still alive? and if so, does this explain Nick's illness....two Nicks sharing the same plane of existence? (Can you tell I'm a sci-fi fan?!)
I am really loving this, Mare. It's so very different from anything you've written before!

Well first of all it's AJ, so that's completely expected, and if I had been in the same circumstances I would have probably been talking the same way. lol It's an interesting twist that they would be taking on some of the characteristics that their AU deadselves had, but who knows what can happen when you fall through a rip in the universe. It would be interesting to know what all of them were like in the different world too, I hope that all comes out at some point.
I've also thought about the Nick thing that he might see himself there, or if the evil Canadians will recognize new Nick as someone they've already captured and taken god knows where. I hope we get another by the weekend, this middle week one was a surprise, Lovin' this story. Found myself going through Mizpah series the other day too. : )

I loved this chapter, it was like I was in AJ's head the whole time. The whole thing with the dopplegangers is a bit confusing but I love the idea. Every time I read this I am just in awe. Loving it so far and can't wait for another update!!!
