This chapter had SOOO much emotion in it. First with Layla... Urgh, Jane drives me nuts. Then Nick and Ali are still on the outs. I so want them to just tell each other they love each other and be back to their cute selves. lol. But in a perfect world, right? *sigh*
I'm starting to get nervous about Ali and the baby... I hope she tells Nick and I hope that nothing's wrong with him. I bet she'll be even more stressed knowing that something COULD be wrong with the baby. :-
I see a total parallel between Nick and Emma and Nick and Ali back in the day... It's kind of scary. I'm hoping that Nick realizes that he loves Ali and he's going to spend the rest of his life with her.

Another excellent chapter. This one was really critical to Nick and Ali's relationship, I feel. It shows that Nick's not just a horny jerk that wants sex and decides to go to the next girl he sees available. Instead, he's freaked out because, here he is, engaged to Alyssa, and afraid that he could feel the same way about another woman that isn't her. I don't blame him for being scared. I mean, deciding to settle down with one person forever? That's gotta be really freaky to think about. Especially for Nick with his history of relationships and the lack of trust with people, even his family.
As far as Alyssa, it's nice to know that she can realize WHY they've been fighting... They've been around each other too much with too much stress from family, their careers, and whatever else seems to happen. The time apart is letting them be alone for a while and that's great because they're going to appreciate each other a lot more (hopefully, lol).
Ugh... The whole Layla drama. Nick can never catch a break, can he? Jane always has to sweep in and screw him over in some way.
I can't wait to read what comes next... Keep it up! You're on such a roll, hun! :D

This chapter was really great. It's the beginning of a different phase for Nick and Ali. Between the stress from their careers, Jane, the pregnancy, and any other little happenings, it's getting chaotic. It's nice to have Nick's narration in the beginning and Alyssa's feelings throughout so that we know, as the reader, that they are feeling upset about how they're growing apart. Too many times, we don't know what the characters are thinking and feeling, so we tend to blame them for anything that goes wrong. That's SO not the case in your stories. I feel like I always know what they're both feeling and usually I can relate to them or at least understand where they're coming from.
Overall, great job! I can't wait to read more, hun. :D

They're fighting more and more. The stress is getting to them and it's hurting their once really strong relationship. I really hope they can find a way back to the friendship they had and balance it out with their love affair. (Sounds so scandalous that way... lol.)
I must say, though, it was so cute when Nick got back home and carried Ali into their bedroom. Again, it's those little things that get me... And I'm just like, "Aww! How can you not love those two?" Isn't it weird how I can totally relate with the Boys and Ali's friends and family when they're like, "Oh, sickening sweet making out and being sappy cute." lol. Cause I really can. I can totally picture it and cringe (even though I think it's cute). Haha, I don't know if that makes much sense... But hopefully you'll get it. Cause it's you. You should!

I fell for you, for all your imperfections and faults. And if you’re unhappy with your body then change it to make yourself happy, but know that I’m right here and that I love you just for what’s here…” She said pointing to his heart. “And here.” She added pointing to his head. “And if you want to change something then know that I will be there by your side supporting you in anyway necessary to help you reach your goals.”
I hope that Nick keeps this in the back of his mind... Because throughout this series, if anything at all is true, it's that these two love each other deep down. And I think if they both remember that, they'll do fine.
I loved how Alyssa dealt with Aaron. Finally, it's like they have a parent that knows what she's doing. No offense to Nick, the parental older brother.
Alyssa's job... That's just really awesome for her. She deserves it so much because she's worked so hard. It sucks that her coworkers are jealous of her, but I guess that's just how some people are. They can't be happy for them for whatever reason, so they have to insult them - even if there's absolutely no truth to the things they say. It's gotta be tough on Ali because she's under a lot of stress as it is... And then to have that on top of everything else is just a pain. Booo negative people.
Er... I can't blame Nick for getting mad at Ali about how she went to her friends about his problems. I know they're his friends, too, but something like that... I don't know, I just think it's gotta be even rougher for him to be insecure about something and then have other people comment on his insecurities. That's enough to make him even more insecure.
And then we leave off with Nick and Emma... Hmm, wonder where that's going to go. I guess we'll see.
Great chapter. Really, really packed chapter... lol. :D The characters just keep surprising me... But of course they do, you're Yoda.

Hehe... Cute chapter. I liked the interaction Alyssa had with the photographer at the photo shoot. I loved her sarcastic attitude.
Hearing the baby's heartbeat was a great moment for the two of them. It really does make it more real after that and I loved their reactions.
The shopping in the middle of the night was my favorite part. (Probably cause I love middle-of-the-night Wal-Mart trips, lol.) It was a classic Nick and Ali moment. With all of the outside stress, I feel like they need to have as many moments like that as they can to keep their relationship sane. It's something that is starting to get rarer ever since they became a couple and not just best friends. If that makes sense...
Anyways, great chapter! :D

Dun, dun, DUN... So it's all built up to be a really, really steamy chapter. The Brazilian and the Boys talking about Nick and Ali and how they have such a hot romance. And then it ends with Nick in the shower. :( Poor Nick. But I have a feeling it's going to happen more just because of the show and the pregnancy. Hopefully Nick will be able to, uh, service himself? haha.
Great job! I'm getting close to being caught up!! I've actually read these chapters through beta reading, but I wanted a refresher. :D It's really all coming together now from the beginning on AIL.
