I think its like Kim said in the last chapter. I think the reason why people find affairs so hot is totally the fantasy aspect. It's knowing that it's forbidden and I guess the risk of being caught. It's the whole temptation that's in front of you too. Like you know its wrong, but you can't stop and then it just escalates and snowballs until it becomes almost an addiction. Not that I condone having one, but this situation is a little more unique as you'll see as the story progresses. There will be a lot of "grey" areas.
I'm glad you enjoyed the kissing scene. I was SOOOO proud of that because looking back on like UMS and stuff I always fought for ways to describe kissing scenes and a lot of them came out sounding a lil lame. I knew this moment called for something like WHOA and I'm glad that I was able to pull that off. Even my beta was impressed and she writes some of the hottest sex scenes I ever read lol. So, hopefully I can keep up that level of intensity. Thanks Saka!

so i tried really hard to stay up last night so i could read this chapter when it was posted, but it just wasn't happening. starting work at 2am sucks something lmao
anywayyyyyyyyy.. wow.. hmm cheating.. it's an interesting subject. I think cheating is wrong, but I also think staying married when it wasn't meant to be is wrong too. then you add the whole nick carter element and wow.. talk about confusing. All I can say is I know I would have cheated by now lmaoo.. oh well lol. Nick's worth it and I'm shallow I guess lol.
This dinner party seems like it might be interesting, espcially with lots of unused rooms in Nick's big house ~wink wink~ haha can't wait for the next chapter.

Cool, an update so soon! we might get used to this huh? lol. Well, good chappie, not so much going on but still good, except at the end, that's when it started to get interesting, i so wanna know what's gonna happen in the party, i have a lot of crazy ideas in my mind about it but i'll have to wait to see what you have prepared for us, and based on what you said at the beginning, i'm sure it won't be disappointing, i can't wait! :D
Author's Response: LOL Don't get TOO used to it. I'm working on the next chapter, but I don't want to rush, so there may not be an update until tomorrow. I know that chapter was pretty much filler so you're right... It wasn't the MOST exciting chapter, but the party is going to be GOOOD. I'll try not to keep you waiting TOO long.

Author's Response: Well, to be fair not only do I know you personally, but RPing with you back in the day definitely gave me a pretty clear idea of your personality and how you would prolly react in certain situations and I know you're kind of going through the whole marriage thing right now, so yea... I guess our convo the other day inspired me for that scene lol And yes... dinner should be VERY interesting!

LOL Well to be fair to Sean it WAS only a dream. I don't think he'd take things that far in reality, but then again he IS a Marine, so he definitely knows his way around a gun. But this next chapter I'm writing may make you think that Sean isn't exactly perfect.

Let's just say he won't start anything with Nick. And I'm glad that you see the complications of Alyssa's desicion. No matter what she decides to do she could lose friends.

Wow I don't know how Alyssa can handle the whole dream, cheat or not to cheat situation! There are a lot of reasons why she shouldn't and as she said she's been on both sides of the situation so she knows how much it sucks but I really want her and Nick to get together again, lol! I feel bad for Alyssa having to see everyone having kids whether it be their own or through adoption(congrats to Meg btw) especially since she wants one so bad! Yeah...can't wait for Nick's dinner party and what drama that shall bring, very excited! Will it maybe be the starting point to the great attraction that can lead to an affair(c'mon how long can Nick be celibate?)?? Great update and thanks for updating back to back, makes me very happy!
Author's Response: It REALLY isn't as simple as you may think, huh? I know a lot of readers are like OMG when are they going to hook up, but its still cheating (even if it IS NIck lol) Not to say its NOT going to happen, but I really wanted to make readers aware of the moral implications that are up ahead. I'm an angst chick so I'm REALLY excited about delving into those emotions. About the kid situation I'm really glad that you are sympathetic towards Alyssa's struggle to get pregnant. It will be playing a pretty important role throughout the next few chapters if you haven't already guessed. And the dinner party? We'll have to see what happens, but perhaps you're on the right track lol.

Wow, that dream was intense, btw, i really like that maroon 5 song. I hope she admits she has felings for Nick that are more than just an innocent attraction, I really want them to get back together.
