so i already know i dont like shayla cause shes shallow, but i almost think in a way sean is shallow too. I know he has issues wit nick cause of what he did to alyssa when they were dating, but when he found out nick was a BSB, that seemed to make the nick situation an even bigger deal, which to me is stupid. What he is, his profession.. it doesnt matter, whether he is a good guy or a bad guy or just a guy that makes mistakes, ya know. So like.. where am i going with this lol. i guess the fact that nick is a bsb bothers Sean so much more makes me dislike him a little. maybe that's just me...
So when are alyssa and nick gonna cheat? hehe

Hehe Smart ass lol I agree that Shayla really started to sound a bit shallow in that last chapter where even I was like Now wait... Lol Sean ehh I don't really think he's shallow. Yea... He freaked out about Nick being a Backstreet Boy but I think any guy would feel intimidated by that. Yea, I think its stuid but *sigh* That's men for you!

And that is exactly what I'm intending to do Rose LOL I'm trying to make Sean and Shayla overall pretty likeable at this point because I love to confuse and frustrate my readers lol I just think that sometimes things aren't black and white, so I experiment with those shades of gray.
As far as how I'm writing so much so quickly... LOL Don't ask. I don't know if its the thrill of starting a new story that I'm so excited about, or the fact that my beta has been updating a lot lately, so I'm trying to keep up, or the fact that I've been sick and then w/ the holiday coming up my schedule has lightened up a bit. I'm going to have to slow down though because I have a presentation and a lesson plan due next week.

Uh-oh, I smell trouble coming! Sean didn't seem thrilled at all to be in the presence of Mr. Nick Carter. Alyssa and Nick still get along so great though, ah, I love it. Hm, Sean was mad that Alyssa didn't tell him that Nick was famous and a 'Backstreet Boy'.
Eh, I tense drama is going to be coming soon. It seems to already be coming. Nick is starting to regret things, maybe? Hehe, that makes me smile, although it shouldn't. Eh, something is fishy to Sean about me. He keeps kicking Alyssa under the table, psh.
Nick seemed kind of sad that Alyssa was married and the whole baby thing too - it seemed that he really started to realize things...:D
Hm, I can't wait to read more of this. They ran into each other with their 'significant other ones' - how wonderful. Please write more as soon as possible. This is great, Mel! I'm excited to see what's going to happen next. Great Job! :D
Author's Response: Thanks Jamanda! I'm glad that you're enjoying this. It was sort of refreshing to have Nick and Alyssa back in each other's presence and not fighting. I think Sean and Shayla definitely showed more of their imperfect sides this chapter which I know everyone was waiting for. And you're right, Sean definitely pleased learning the Nick, Alyssa was dated was Nick Carter the Backstreet Boy. All of that will come to a head next chapter...

I know right! LMAO That's actually where I got the idea to have Shayla work for E! I was going to make her a model/actress but I wanted to do something a lil different and less cliched.

Ah, it's a bit freaky that children came up in both marriages. Sean wants a baby and Alyssa agreed, but I don't know if she's ready to have one with 'Sean'. It's kind of dishonest to see that Sean didn't tell Alyssa about the possibility of getting called to go to Iraq when they moved to California.
Hm, Shayla is iffy to me. Just herself is just irritating me and I don't know why. Something is fishy with her to me. Maybe that's just how I feel, but I don't know. Hm, I'm really interested in seeing what is going to happen next.
I hope that you'll write and POST more as soon as possible. I'm really excited to see how this story is going to play out. Please write more soon. This chapter was great! :D
Author's Response: Yea I guess it was a lik coincidental, but I wanted to parellell their different attitudes towards kids. Ha I feel so badly for Shayla and Sean in this story cuz a lot of readers are judging them very harshly because we all want Nick and Alyssa to get back together. I'm working on the next chapter which is the beginning of the drama, but I don't want to rush it because I want it to be perfect. I'll try to post more as soon as I can! Thanks!
