Ooh kind of a mean little cliffy you ended it on... I imagine most of your readers are probably thinking the worst right now.
Well I'm all caught up right now and this has really been an emotionally driven story. Healing is a slow process and you definitely illustrate it here. I'm really glad that Alyssa went to the support group. I think it was really helpful for her. I love all the realizations she's coming to lately.
I also really liked her narration. It's really hard to think of her being so afraid to actually let herself be truly comfortable around Nick sexually. I never got much of the impression that she was afraid to put herself out there except for the occasional few moments. I always felt like she was really confident and in control, but ehh I guess not... Great work teri!

Toward the beginning of the chapter I felt bad for Nick when Alyssa didn't leave with him, but I understood why she didn't.
