freakin eh! now shannon is responsible for both matilda and nick's hospital stays. oh man. i gasped and screamed a lil. and then read the song. and man i love coldplay. i love that song. and now im sad. cant wait for more. gah. just dont kill nick ya? i can live with paralyzed but not dead.
Author's Response: Coldplay are one of my faves, I've used their songs before in fanfics, they just seem to fit perfectly. Is she really responsible though? That's a lot to put on a person, after all she didn't run out into the road, she wasn't driving the car, she didn't force him to protect Matilda. But yeah you are right in a way if she hadn't been at the airport, if she had listened to her heart then it might not have happened! Trust me she is going to be going over and over that in her head in the following chapters!

Oh my, I was hoping that Nick would of went after the two of them. And he saved Maltida, I just hope that he's okay. He can't be gone. Hopefully, he'll be okay. He needs to be there for both Shannon and Maltida. Maltida and Shannon need him more than anything, even if Shannon denies it. Please pull through Nick. Gosh, I just knew when Maltida started running towards him and a car was coming, that he was going to save her. Dear lord, please post another chapter as soon as possible. I hope that he'll be okay. Please let him live.
Author's Response: To be honest it wasn't going to happen like this, he was supposed to get to the airport in time to see the plane leave but this idea just suddenly came to me! I'm glad I went with it, I mean I don't like hurting Nick but with what I have planned it works. Shannon is going to be beside herself, maybe this will be the kick up the bum she needs to realise but like I have been saying maybe it will be too late. Who knows?! :)

She is trying to protect herself and her daughter and deep down she knows that Nick will treat her right but she just cn't take that risk right now. Ben and her Dad walking otu have done some serious damage that may never be able to be repaired!
