The gate was bothering him earlier, he should've trusted his instinct about it. I had a feeling the zombies would crash the party, but at least everyone survived, what a relief!
I can understand them not wanting to leave and go to Europe, they don't know what it's like there and they've become so used to the base. But if life is better over there, I'm sure it'll be the right move.

Loving this as I always am. Just wanted to say i wasn't into horror type stuff until I read this story, now I'm watching zombie movies, and really loving gore so I blame the two of you. Great update, I am not so sure about the last line of this chapter.....damn it. Can't wait for more! This is still my favorite fanfic :)

Wow, just wow! Amazing chapter and so many answers too. Great idea to immunize people against it through donated blood, but it's just a real tragedy that the virus was created in the first place. I suppose stuff like that could really happen though, what a chilling thought. I hope that evil dictator got eaten by a zombie!
Well done at the awards too, you two both deserve it!
Can't wait for more and to see how it all ends. I'll be sorry to see an end though as I've loved this story since the very first chapter was posted.

You're right, something like this could happen, which for us, just made it even more obvious a choice lol. Hopefully he was eaten before he changed, maybe he was eaten while wearing a gas mask :P. Thanks about the awards, congrats on all yours too! The end is coming, though we still have chapters to go before we do. And honestly, we'll be just as sad to leave our zombies behind :(. Amazing chapter as always. I'm glad we found out some answers finally. Also loved Nick calling the guy Ducky, that was cute. All of them having blood transfusions was a bit unexpected but everything is making sense. Can't wait for another update soon, you girls continue to amaze me with this story and congrats on getting runner up. You're both really talented :)

Yay, so good to see a new chapter!! Wow, lots going on in this one with the arrival of new people. Poor Giorgio, but with an injury like that I suppose it was inevitable. I'm not sure what to think of Selena yet, but hopefully she'll turn out to be a nice person.
Interesting about the blood types and how they are all immune to the virus and zombie attacks. I wonder if that means there will be more people out there?

Author's Response: I can't imagine it either, but I guess it would have to happen at some point, if they are the only ones left. It's either repopulate, or let the human race die off completely! At least the base is relatively safe... for now... OR IS IT?! LOL I know, I was like, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" when I saw the end of the latest episode!
