Hello ladies. Although this story has been around for a bit I just now started reading it. I love the was you describe things. Very visual. Which is something I really like. As I read this I can picture exactly what is happening. Even though I have over 85 chapters to read I will most likely finish them all in 1 or 2 days. Keep up the excellent work.

I LOVE that song you used for this chapter....after Nick sang it in concert I downloaded it and fell in love with it. I am also amused at Kevin singing it too. Its good that they are almost to Florida and hopefully make it in one piece. Great update!

So I wanted to be sure (especially with you reading it) I represented it accurately. And yes, people were started to forget about the seizures, including Nick/Riley/Kevin lol. Even after they ran out of Nick's meds. So of course we all needed a reminder lol. Riley's changed a lot hasn't she? It's horrible but in the beginning...she probably would've abandoned him if she knew that was the only way she'd survive, but would never do that now. :). Thanks Sel!

Then again, it might not be a good idea for her to be pregnant, since she's already had a miscarriage, and Jo's dead so no medical expertise either if something starts to go wrong. I mean, can you imagine Nick trying to play midwife? lol
Also, I doubt they have or know which meds to use for epidurals, so Gretchen would have to give birth the old-fashioned way...HORRORS. THE PAIN. THE SUFFERING.

I liked that you didn't drag out their whole will they-won't they bit and just had them jump right into it and acknowledge their feelings, including the guilt. So yay!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE ROBINS ARE BACK?! Is it connected to the weird noises that the zombies made when Riley shot them? Is the Osiris virus wearing off and turning zombies back into people?
Author's Response: LOL! Thanks! We like the touch of romance, but we didn't want to turn it all melodramatic soap opera, with them going back and forth over it. It's still a zombie story, first and foremost - we don't have time for all that "feelings" crap LOL. There's no big mystery behind the robins - they're back because they've realized the base is relatively zombie-free now, compared to most other areas, so they've made it their sanctuary too. As for the weird noises... stay tuned, and you'll find out! :)

That chapter was just so perfect. I knew they'd be good for each other, but I also knew that they weren't going to just rush into anything, that they both needed time to get over losing the ones they loved. But I think that was the perfect moment. The birds are singing and life goes on. Awesome.
