Oh noes! I really hope that Kevin will be okay. Sounds like a really nasty infection. I love Nick and Riley together...they're so sweet. I really like that we got to see Riley's vulnerable side. She's so strong that I think we forget that she has a hard time as well. Great chap :)
Author's Response: Kevin's not in a good place right now :(, life's harder in a zombie apocalypse. I'm glad everyone seems to like those two. I felt like Riley's softer side isn't shown as much, because she's not given a chance to, trying to always prove herself. But she does have her own issues, and the fact they were just building up so much finally caused her to crack. Thanks!

Wow! Poor Gretchen. I can understand how she hates not knowing, but not sure if this is the greatest idea...Love the beginning of Fievel and An American Tale. I had to laugh at nick's dream....hmmmm I wonder where that came from ;) having seen that video over and over again. Poor Nick and his fear of flying...and poor Kevin :(( it looks like they won't see the others again does it? Hopefully Kevin survives and they figure out something! They should have known zombies would be everywhere, they should have stayed on the base. I also liked how Nick protected Riley, the way he covered her like that reminded me of this episode of smallville. Loving this update, I was excited to see double updates! Double updates....what could it mean???? LOL thanks for giving me some entertainment. Loved every bit!
Author's Response: LOL that was why that one night I kept tweeting about the hilarity of it. I was cracking myself up writing that. Poor Nick though, and Kevin. :( It does look like that doesn't it? Who knows if they will, life has definitely gotten harder for them yet again. As for leaving the base, the problem was that they had no way of knowing, and Kevin did have a point, it was that or sit around to get picked off one by one. Now they know.
