Beautiful update. Liked how Nick saved Riley, and how AJ likes to paint, I identified with that. He is one of my favorite people. I also thought the sunglasses gift was cute, Howie surprises me sometimes. Loving the story, can't wait for more

Awesome chapter, as usual! LOL I really liked the mention of how closed off Brian is and how his wounds haven't begun to heal because I am surprised he has not just snapped yet.
I don't think he even told anybody he was the one to kill his family, did he?
I love all the characters' storylines, but his just intrigues me more. But, he's my fave and I am bias. LOL

It's at the darkest times when we should be depending on God, not losing our faith. Granted, Brian went through some hellish things and I am not taking that away from him, but things do happen for a reason!

THANK GOD! GO RILEY! I thought for sure that i would have to reach through this computer and smack Kayleigh. Granted, everyone has lost someone and it's obvious this really tore her up, but Riley had a damn good point! I just seriously hope that Kayleigh isn't such a snobby little drama queen college girl!
As for AJ, it's really nice to see that others can rely on him. It might take his mind off of getting "that damn hit". although, fading into nothingness with how the world has become is a lot better too. but i'm glad he is finding another outlet, so to speak.
I love it, so looking forward to more!
