Great chapter Mare! I still don't know what to think of Nickolas, but I don't think he's the bad guy anymore (although I could be totally wrong).
So glad that Kevin is alive and safe, I wonder about Nick's Dad though, and the woman he thought was his Mum.

WAHHH!!!! Your chapter endings in this story are always epic! I still don't know quite who or what to believe. I'm thinking it's a good sign that Kevin was actually there, alive, but I still don't quite believe everything Nickolas is saying and that Max was really a bad guy all along. And it gets even more interesting now that Jane is back in the picture. I loved how you wrote the twist ending! Another awesome chapter!
