This chapter is what I remembered the most from the story and when I started reading it the first time it stuck so when I finished, all this time later, I remembered the chapter but couldn't remember the story. then re-reading it I began to wonder if it was this story a nd it was! great job on making it so memorable!

Author's Response: Aww, thanks! This chapter was hard to write too. A co-worker of mine was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer right around this time, and this was the first chapter I finished after that happened. It made the rest of the story a lot more personal for me.
