I love that this chapter took us back in time, when things were normal, and showed us a typical day in the life of the Backstreet Boys in 1999. I always love the way you write the Boys together; you have such a knack for portraying their brotherly relationship. I laughed at Nick getting bored at the party and throwing a crab cake at Howie's head, and at Brian being too afraid to even get near the ledge, and at Kevin being typical Kevin! (I'm so glad Kevin's back!) How did it all go so wrong in such a short period of time? I can't wait to find out!

Aww thanks! I felt like I had to go back and forth for this one because writing an entire doom and gloom story wouldn't have worked for me. LOL I forgot I had Nick throwe a crab cake at Howie. Poor Howie, but I can see him doing that. Thanks for the review, I know you're busy. No need to rush, just read when you have the time. :O)

Have I ever told you how much I love your writing from Nick's POV?! It always provides some type of comic relief....and I have a feeling that we will need some comic relief in this story. I love the way you have me caught up in Nick's excitement about the album release; yet, there's still some trepidation, on my part because I already have a glimpse of what's going to happen. Great job, Mare. Looking forward to the next installment.

Uh-oh, we're going to be going back and forth in this one I see. Good side about that is we get a little bit of normalcy in between all the craziness, bad thing is we have to wait an extra chapter to get answers to the suspenseful/crazy stuff before. lol Can't wait till Saturday!

Loving it! Curious to see how it all came about and can't wait to read more. Aw poor Nick getting his glass of champagne taken away, lol. I share Brian fear of heights too, there is no way I'd go anywhere near the edge of a tall building (or even a small building).

I LOVED this chap, Mare! I swear that you're one of the guys...LOL. I was cracking up throughout the whole thing. Needy neederson, big boobs mcgee...and "Poor scared of heights Brian" cracked me up the most I think.
Love the foreshadowing and the part where he talks about loving his mom as much as loving the guys., but them loving him back. I can imagine him thinking that way. Can't wait to read more!

I love when you write Nick's POV. Especially young Nick. I think you really have the guide to Nickolas Gene Carter and just refuse to share LOL. It's very random, and I like how you backtracked now after giving that preview in the first chapter of what's to come, to start really telling the story from where it begins.
I also love the timewarp to 1999. I miss that year lol. 2011 isn't nearly as good a "pre-apocolypse" year haha.
