What a scary, miserable situation to be in! The descriptions of the snow and them shivering and sniffling are making me cold! LOL Poor Nick especially - the way you described him in his shorts, shivering so hard he was practically convulsing and with tears streaming down his face, made me feel so sorry for him! :(

Aww, I know! I think it was actually really cold here when I wrote that so I was just internalizing how awful it would be to dress in summer clothes and be stuck outside in the brutal cold! Poor Nick! lol

Yay, I love that you're updating this so regularly now, I appreciate it. It's a nice thing to look forward to at the end of a busy week. I kind of like how you're keeping the story in one time now, just because the "current" time period was so stressful, with Nick being sick and the guys all separated, it's nice to get some background too.
I like Nick being the quiet/freaked out one in all of this. They're all kind of not acting like themselves which makes it seem like there is really something out of whack here. Thanks again for the update, hope you have a good week and are enjoying your time off for summer!

Thanks Sam! I didn't see this review before. We are going to hop back into the future after Brian's chapter, but yes, I enjoy being in one place at one time. I am also enjoying my break :O)

Once again the imagery created (a dead squirrel with a nut in its mouth, stopped watches) has made this a really creepy tale....and I love it!

Having to trample over those dead birds was something I couldn't do! But rather that than cute little furry creatures. I hope the snow is OK and they don't get ill, that would be terrible. 10 miles in those conditions must feel more like 100 miles :(
