I loved this chapter, lots of comic relief! Like you said in your reply to one of my last reviews, the fact that you alternate between past and present keeps it a little lighter, even though we know what's coming. I cracked up at some of Kevin's thoughts, like when he compared Nick to a baboon and AJ to a Jewish grandmother LOL. You nailed all of them. Nice foreshadowing, too!

Hehe, thanks. I love writing from Kevin's point of view, especially back then because I can only imagine what went on I. His head being thrown into a situation where some of his vo-workers were actually children. Considering his intense personality, I can imagine how rough that was for him lol

So Donald Trump wants all the celebrities dead? That's a new take on Celebrity Apprentice! LOL Very interesting! I think it's cool how you're alternating between the two different times - it sure keeps one guessing! LOL I liked the reference to Terminator because that's what this feels like; that's the kind of world I'm picturing as I read these scenes. I'm glad Brian and Kevin are okay, but I wonder what happened to AJ. This dark, post-apocalyptic kind of story is different for you, but it has all the hallmarks of a good Mare story - mystery, suspense, and plenty of bromance. I'm really enjoying it so far!!

Just keep in mind, I wrote this long before Trump ever talked about running for office so you can imagine how much that freaked me out! LOL I was just thinking, hrmm...who is douchey enough to cause the end of the world and he's the first one that came to mind. Thanks for the compliment! It was hard writing something different but i'm glad it still translated well as a me type story. (so far) I hope it continues to do so!

I love that this chapter took us back in time, when things were normal, and showed us a typical day in the life of the Backstreet Boys in 1999. I always love the way you write the Boys together; you have such a knack for portraying their brotherly relationship. I laughed at Nick getting bored at the party and throwing a crab cake at Howie's head, and at Brian being too afraid to even get near the ledge, and at Kevin being typical Kevin! (I'm so glad Kevin's back!) How did it all go so wrong in such a short period of time? I can't wait to find out!

Aww thanks! I felt like I had to go back and forth for this one because writing an entire doom and gloom story wouldn't have worked for me. LOL I forgot I had Nick throwe a crab cake at Howie. Poor Howie, but I can see him doing that. Thanks for the review, I know you're busy. No need to rush, just read when you have the time. :O)

I'm almost bouncing on my chair with joy! What a fantastic ending to an awesome story. As I was reading this chapter, I did wonder whether Nick would be somehow come back to life, especially the part where he appeared to be sleeping and not dead. But to go back to before they boarded the plane was just amazing.
And I voted for the other ending, how wrong was I!! This is the ending I wanted :)
Oh yeah, I wonder about Donald Trump? Hmm...

Thanks, Steph! I'm glad you liked the ending! Bringing them back to before it happened seemed like the only way to justify bringing Nick back just like bringing them back in time with the other Nick seemed to make the most sense in that scenerio.
We all know Trump is a douche lol At least we can take that knowledge and move forward cautiously! lmao

These are words I never wanted to read from you; but, as a fan of your writing I want to say thank you. Thank you for the time spent on creating and publishing these stories. Thank you for responding to my reviews and for replying to my e-mails.
I must admit that my fanfiction reading has changed over the years. Other fandoms have a higher priority over my BSB fiction. So, I understand if the BSB muse has gone a little quiet. But, I will have all the previous stories you have written and any originals and shorts you will write.
What I have always loved about your stories has been your character development. You have always been able to pull some type of response from me with your characters: from the demented Joe in the Bible trilogy, the twisted sister in "Scars" and even those familiar strangers in Mel's Tree, just to name a few, are memorable. And as I reader, I appreciate all the hard work.
So Mare, again, thank you. I won't say goodbye. I'll just say Mizpah.

In the previous epilogue, when Howie thought it was his Nicky returning, I thought what a twist that would be. But it makes perfect sense to me....they haven't taken off yet, so Nick isn't dead. I knew you really couldn't kill our Nick! Well, not permanently. Again, good job, Mare. How you manage to keep this straight in your head, I have no idea.

Mmmm....somehow this is a fitting in....poetic in a way. Nick of Bizarro World shares the fate of his brothers; while BSB will not continue without their Nick. But I was surprised by the "time travel" aspect of this. Good job, Mare. Now I'm off to read Epilogue B.
