I think I'd be pissed off with Nick. It's Alyssa's birthday and he didn't even send her a text, or return her calls. He has no right to go off like that! He should've seen that she was struggling to get rid of that asshole on the dance floor, or at the very least, let her tell her side of the story. He said some nasty things and I'm not sure I'd be too quick to forgive him.
Can't wait for more. If that was me, I'd have him do some grovelling, lol.

Yea I agree that Nick was WAY out of line, but we all know that Nick can be a moody bitch lol. Interesting enough if you've read UMS Alyssa unknowingly does the same thing so either it is some weird way of having them come full circle or I just love to ruin birthdays lol. Perception is reality though to Nick and I think that he's become so jaded since Mandy and his post relationship hook ups that he assumes that all girls are like that. As far as Alyssa staying mad at him, we'll see. You are right, she should make him grovel a bit, but her lasck of experience may make her cave sooner than expected. Besides... It's Nick Lol. Could you really stay mad at that face? Thanks Steph!

Love it, it is so funny lexi can't see that it over but why am I afraid that it is the last we see of her. I hope the walk from home with Nick hit off . Need more updates so I can find out please .

Yea Lexi has a bit of a problem in letting go. As for this being the last you see of her, she may pop up later on in the story, but that's quite awhile from now so don't fret. She's not much of a threat to Alyssa at this point and Nick is obviously not interested. Thanks for the review!

Really enjoyed that chapter, it was exactly how you'd expect a first meeting to go. I'm so glad they hit it off and I love how Alyssa may be gushing about him on the inside, but she kept her cool on the outside. That dancing was hotting up nicely, so hopefully he will decide to go to her birthday.

Thanks Steph! I tried to make it realistic where you had that initial awkwardness, but I also had to establish some kind of connection that would make them want to see each other again, so it was challenging. Glad you liked the dancing part. I wanted to show a little chemistry/tension but since I'm so rusty I was afraid it bordered on cheesy lol. We'll see about her birthday in next chapter...
