Aw I didn't think that was sappy at all. I knew something would happen between them and it looks like Elana needs to talk to Jeremy about what she's feeling. The last part of the chapter made me nervous and excited. Looks like the war part is coming!

I really liked Brian's introduction and again you're staying true to the boy's lives while keeping to the time period. I also like the letter and that you used the bsb lyrics in the poem. Great so far :)

I plan on trying to add BSB lyrics to his poems, if I can. I've never written historical before, but I do like some WW2 films and I love a bit of romance and action, so hope it's coming across OK. Thanks for reading :)

I liked reading about Nick meeting AJ and that he's a musician even thought it is AU. Although it is another time period and also AU, I feel like the boys are still themselves, and you've done a great job at keeping their personalities :) I liked the goodbyes and it was sweet that Emily will wait for Nick. I love history and I've been meaning to give this story a go for a while now. Finally have time to read and so far I like it enough to continue. I like that Nick is the all American boy-next-door type and he writes poetry, I also like how you have set this around real events. Curious to see what is next :) Reading on
