Yah really? doesn't seem like there's a war going on or anything!! LOL. Where's the bombings in England to at least torment them... they were primarily London right? oh I don't know, I read historical fiction and am like history but I have to admit 20th century history I don't like to "research" as much. LOL.
I think Nick and Elena are cute, it's nice to see innocent flirting. :) can't wait for more.

LOL, I know they are getting it easy but I don't think they suffered many bombings there during the war as that's where my grandparents are from. I think the bombers went more for the industrial areas and large towns. Kids from London were sent to rural Wales to get away from it all.
I like Elena and Nick together too, they are cute, but she has a boyfriend ;)

unfortunately I'm sure that scenario Nick finds himself in happened all too frequently :( I'm sad for it but it leaves him open to fall in love with Elena! :-D Oh I hope Nick doesn't get in trouble for not reporting back to the base.... LOVED it Steph! can't wait for more.

Yeah, I think it happened a lot. I know for sure that a relative of my Mum's had a baby by a US serviceman during the war and she called the baby Denver as that's where the man was from. That was in Yorkshire too, where I've set this story. Hmm, I think Nick might get away with sneaking back in if he's careful! Thanks for the review Lore, glad you are still enjoying it.
