Oh, Hannah!!! I'm reading this now, a year later because of the Felix 2012 awards, and I feel a little bit ill and depressed after finishing it... but in a good way! It was so well-written, and the emotions were very raw and believable. I guess you could say, I found it incredibly moving. I feel so sad now for Nick D: (Also, I got distracted halfway through the story and went to read the entire Wikipedia page on cryonics, which somehow depressed me even more.) I'm reading Launch right now, as well, and it just made me want to cry thinking of poor Nick always making a last phone call when he thinks he's about to die. ;_____; Great job on the challenge, though. You totally nailed it.

I really really really enjoyed reading that!! I love this kind of sci-fi and have often wondered about cryogenically frozen people and what happens to them. I felt sorry for Brian, having felt guilty for all those years. I like the way you described the aged guys too. Great story Hannah :)

Nick doesn't seem happy with how he came back or how he feels. I think he is uncomfortable. Loved seeing his views and all of this coming together but I wanted to give him a big hug. Great job! :)

I am really enjoying this Hannah. It seems so realistic. I wonder how Nick is going to react when he wakes up and sees all the guys have aged and everything is different. I have a feeling he won't understand. Great so far and looking forward to hearing Nick's POV.

Wow jane is a bitch and a half. Never liked Nick's parents to begin with, I always felt so bad for him. This all seems so real, I am really really curious about the cryogenics involved in this story. Great so far!
Author's Response: It's weird because I have no clue where all this came from. I was literally driving to the store today and I'd been thinking about the challenge for this month for the past couple days and badabing badaboom, the closing scene of this story (yes, not yet posted but already written!) went through my head and I was like "dude I need to go home and write that like tonight" LOL It's just coming so naturally. Omg. I gotta remember not to read stuff like this at work :( this was so sad. He sounded like a child...I am curious as hell thoug. Loving it so far, I love the descriptions and it seems so real, like the guys are really telling the story.
