So so very happy you are working on this again! I really squealed when I saw your tweet about it. I loved how excited Hermione was about BSB being from a muggle family. Also giggled at how Harry is really not used to Ron and Hermione dating, and that girls puzzle him still. Felt very much like one of the books to me!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Tracy! I really appreciate the enthusiasm for this story; I figured people would have forgotten all about it by now! I tried to capture the feel of the books in this, so thanks for saying that; I'm glad it came through! I think it's harder to write fanfic based on a book because you want it to harmonize with the original author's writing style - but it's a fun challenge too! I've actually enjoyed writing the HP parts better than the BSB parts in this one so far!

Oh AJ!!! it makes sense that he's involved in that world, how interesting. I wonder if any witches who liked the boys would send owls with fan letters to them!! LOL Nick unable to prank AJ is hilarious, the facial hair growing back, I bet that made Nick feel a bit like he'd lost his mind.

Though I'm guessing the only witches who would even know who they were would be Muggle-borns, so they'd know how to send a letter in the regular mail... then again, an owl would be a sure way of making sure it got to the Boys themselves, so maybe they would! I love how Harry doesn't understand Ron and Hermione's relationship but someone outside his probably wouldn't understand his and Ginny's. You've done a good job of continuing the characters in a realistic way.
Author's Response: LOL That's true! Thanks!! I feel like I know the characters well, as many times as I've read those books, but writing them with the same continuity is a different story, so I'm glad it seemed realistic.

Author's Response: LMAO Thanks, me too!! Oh the penis haircut... Yeah, I'm not enough of a Twilight fan anymore to do a crossover of that, but Rose and I have talked about a BSB/Hunger Games crossover... there's a real possibility of that happening after Undead is done, maybe later this year!

So I'm definitely familiar with the story and JK Rowling's writing style, but it's still a challenge to do her work justice - she is so brilliant!! I'm actually enjoying writing the Harry parts more than the BSB ones so far!

Nice lead in with the letters and owls following the bus. This is a really well done crossover and I am very curious where it will go, I also like how much of the books is put into the chapter. I love Harry Potter and BSB, and stories like these are hard to come by. Well Done Julie! You've gotten me interested in fanfiction again :)

I haven't read Fanfic in a few weeks and as soon as I saw this story I had to read it. I love how you have used elements from the books here, I felt like I was reading the actual book. So far all the roles fit, Kevin in the Mr. Dursley part made me chuckle. Can't wait to see where you take the rest of this, I'm enjoying it so far!

I know this story won't be for everyone; I'm not usually a big fan of crossovers myself, and people who don't know Harry Potter will be lost. That said, I'm glad you like both and were interested in giving this a try! This first chapter definitely starts out like a parody, but the whole story won't be written this way.
