Wow - Jane is dumb. Really? She thought that she was in Nick's house?? I swear that woman needs her head examined. I liked how the interactions between the guys played out after that whole ordeal. Of course Howie and Brian knew the details and Kevin and AJ were in the dark. That's always the way that it seems to be. Well done! Also, the flashback with Nick and Kevin on the beach was quite heartwarming. I love me some "KICK". :)

Once again sorry for not reading in a while. This chapter was very good. You captured them perfectly and I loved the scene with Nick on the beach, I wanted to hug him. Poor kid. Great job!

Great chapter. I wasn't quite a full fledged fan back when the guys went on TRL but I remember watching it and saying "I wish someone would hug that blonde one. He looks so sad." I loved Howie's little episode he had and his misplaced anger on Nick. He really does hide his emotions the most out of all of them. We never fully know what Howie's thinking. And I loved the small suspense element you had in there with the break in. Can't wait to see why Jane broke in. That woman... I swear!

WTF?? Seriously, Nick's MOTHER broke into AJ's house and trashed the place?? What is going on?!?! The fact that I will need to wait another week to find out the answer makes me a little bit sad. Overall, I enjoyed all the different bits of this chapter. I found it particularly heart-wrenching that, in reality, Nick DOES end up breaking his promise to Howie about doing the same thing that AJ did (in terms of his addictions).

Well I have finally caught up with this story I am sorry that I haven't been reviewing for awhile life got in the way and I was really busy. I am still loving this story and very sad that it is close to the end. I get very excited to see a new chapter updated because I know that I am about to read my favorite new story. You are a great writer with endless possibilities.As always waiting to read more.

This chapter was really sweet and heart felt. I loved all three parts, especially the flashback. I'm sad you're almost done with this story but on the plus side, I plan on making it a featured one once it's done and I'm hoping you'll start working on another one soon!
Author's Response: Aww thanks Mare! I actually have another story I've sorta started with - it's been in my mind for years now. It's an AU and originally it was gonna be a non-sci fi Supernatural fanfic with the two brothers but I'm thinking of turning it into a five brother thing with the BSB. Which is why I was a little worried when I read that you're not big on AUs lol But I have probably like 3-5 chapters left of this story. It depends how I decide to split it up. I can totally see the fight over who has to share a room actually happening. I can only imagine how many of those fights the guys actually went through in the early years. Every time there's a Brian/Nick moment, it pulls at my heart strings. Love it! Also, to answer your question, I teach English. Figures eh? LOL

I'm glad I was finally able to get around to reading this. Can I give you a little tip? Don't be so hard on yourself and apologize before a chapter! We are always our worst critics and when you do that instead of your readers just simply reading and enjoying the chapter they are going to look for the flaws. I thought there was nothing at all wrong with this chapter by the way. I'm not sure what you didn't like about it. The whole underwear thing? Heck they always say they shower together after their concerts. LOL I loved the descriptions you had going on in the second half of this chapter. It reminded me of a lot of the old school stories I used to LOVE. I also thought the little conversation Nick and AJ had in the first half was really great as well. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to the next one and NO more Apologizing missy! :O) lol
Author's Response: That last chapter, to me, was agonisingly terrible. It was way too soap opera-ish. My old Harry Potter fics were action/adventure with a bit of drama/angst so this is completely different and new to me. Too much angst! lol But thanks for the kind words and support.
