Aw, I loved the drama you built in this chapter. You got down Leighanne's personality to a tee and sadly the whole business mind of both Lou and Jane. I wouldn't be surprised if a meeting like that did really happen which might be how Brian ended up being Nick's guardian in real life. Poor Nick. The fanfic one and the real one. lol Good job, Jess!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. It was nice seeing that this story was updated. I admit, I purposely waited to see if more would be posted before I read on. I kind of did forget what happened prior but you did a good job of reminding us in the chapter. Great descriptions as always and I really like how you incorporated this last flashback. I hope you get around to posting the rest of the story.

Loved the flashback scene, you write them so well.
Also loved your writing of Nick's emotions and how confused he was. He was mad at the guys, especially Kevin but wanted him at the same time. I'm sure in real life Nick has felt that a time or two.

So happy to see another chapter of this on the most recent page. I am not a fan of Jane at all because of the way she exploits her children. I felt s bad for Nick when that book came out and I wasn't even a huge BSB fan yet! I would very much like to slap her! great job showing how much she negatively affects his life in this chapter and I also love the Nick and Kevin moment. You kind of have to wonder if things went down like that after the book was published. We all know Kevin's not a Jane fan either. lol I love him! Great job! Looking forward to another update! :O)

I don't even remember that book coming out. Probably had something to do with the fact I was 8 and the only songs I knew of the Backstreet Boys were Everybody and As Long as You Love Me. But when I read about it a couple of years ago I instantly thought 'way to make money off your kid'. Kevin's not a Jane fan? I honestly did not know that - I just assumed it. Thanks for the review! Aw thanks Kimberly! I'm so glad you liked it! I love Kevin/Nick too but I'm a fan of Howie/Nick as well (friendship, just clarifying lol). I don't think Kevin would be pleased at all - I mean he did fly to Florida just to see Nick and he's just taken off! I would be annoyed LOL thanks for the review!!

You know, when I got a random review from you the first thought that came to my mind is "Yay! That means she's back and maybe will be updating her story soon!" I have missed this one. How was your trip? Great job with the AJ story. I do think sometimes AJ is jealous of Nick's relationship with Kevin but I also think those two have a very special relationship of their own (Kevin and AJ) I do love the going back and forth between past and present and am eager to find out what's going on s don't make me wait too long! :O)

My trip was incredible! But when I got back it took a while to get used to reality again :) Thanks for your review! I always look forward to your feedback. I remember seeing an interview with Kevin talking about AJ and remember thinking 'Holy shit, you can see the love there'. Kevin and AJ definitely have a special relationship but I just think AJ was a lot more mature than Nick in the 90s and didn't need Kevin as much. Thanks so much for the review again! I'm so glad you updated this! I almost missed it! First of all, have a great time overseas :-) I loved your description of AJ's house and the gargoyles. I think in another life he was Gomez Addams or at least wants to be! The tension mounting in this chapter was really well written and so was the confrontation with Kevin. I think you captured Nick's thoughts about being abandoned by his friends really well. If I were him, I bet i'd feel the same way and just how you wrote it, I felt how lost he felt. Gotta love that even among all the hardness with the drugs and heavy drinking there is still that innocence there where he doesn't know the difference between ecstacy and PCP although, I wouldn't either. I once told someone I liked their lamp and then found out it was a bong! lmao

I love reading things from Howie's POV. It's so true that he is maternal while at the same time always being afriad that people will think he's too feminine. I love how over protective he is of Nick without being quite as overbearing as Kevin is! LOL at the Kevin look too! I can't wait to see how that all plays out! I loved your flashback in this chapter. It's aad that I can see Jane and Bob both being fine and even condoning Nick smoking pot. Great job! I always loko forward to updates on this story! Curious to know why he's selling his house. Why do I think it's because his mother needs money? *kicks her*
