This seems to be like a cut to all that has previously happened. Something new seems to be beginning and I'm curious in what direction the story will go now...
You know I am worse than Brian :P I still hope that Nick is alive and just hiding and suddenly will pop up in this story ;)
I also like all the glimpses in their past you are giving in those chapters, like what happened before... They are just so cute in my mind :)...
but we know they are perfect for each other anyway ;)
Author's Response: Well, I couldn't keep let Brian going on like that. Although this doesn't mean the worst is over. This story is about the up and downs after something like that happens. So we're going to see Brian struggling, trying to find new directions and... who knows? (I mean, I know but... lol)
And don't worry. You're not the only one who believes that Nick is alive. Otherwise Brian wouldn't keep calling Nick's phone and talking to him. ;)
