This may be weird, but I literally laughed out loud during this chapter. First, the Miles Davis line, then AJ and the handcuffs, wishing they'd actually gotten to the part where Kevin and Brian teach him how to get out of them. Ha! Anyway, I told you I liked Charlie. It really showed that he's not such a bad guy after all in this chapter... For now anyway. I'm wondering if there is going to be more explanation behind Ariana's motive and mission here. I mean, I get that what Kevin Sr. Supposedly did to her family is really awful, but her plan seems a little weird, considering the awful things she's already done. I mean, I know she's "batshit crazy," but I feel like maybe I don't know the whole backstory.

How weird that I got this review as I was reading and reviewing your story! Maybe we are psychically linked or something. Poor AJ and the handcuff thing, I actually remember that! I always get excited when I remember something. Yay Me!! As far as Ariana's backstory, I don't really recall how much we know already but I think it was revealed that Kevin sr. killed her parents right in front of her. I think if someone killed my parents right in front of me when I was only 8 it would have made me a tad insane. It is funny how people handle intense situations in different ways though. In her case, witnessing that and then wanting to be close to him but constantly feeling rejected most likely brought about the birth of a monster. Like I said, not sure if everything was revealed yet. I want to say there's a little more backstory coming up that might help that along but this also shows you what I was talking about in the thread about how I am kind of weak with my female characters. Even the evil ones. lol
