This was fantastic and a perfect ending to the whole ordeal! I found myself screaming at my computer screen during all the twists and turns! I have to say that I felt horrible for Charlie though - didn't feel the same for Ariana however LOL And Howie!!! Argh! The ending definitely made me tear up a bit! Thanks so much for the thrilling read. I'm already halfway through 'What Lurks Around the Corner' and have an odd feeling about this Max dude.

I have to say, I read the first part of this story a while back and I saw this one updated recently but since it was a while I reread the entire thing over a two day span. I absolutely loved the story as a whole I can't wait to read more from you. Good job, one of the best fan fictions I've ever read. ♥

i love how you wrap up each characters' lives and im glad you saved Patty :D and it's awesome that you made brian me the one who is scared of commitment and AJ with two kids awwww....and Howie, finally finding the right person and Kevin with his Selma and the relationship between Nick and Kevin Sr is made of so much win! and Nick, so mature and GROWN and i still see him as the young kid...Patty is one lucky lady!

ffffffff that was INTENSE!!!! and i LOVE LOVE LOVE how FIERCE Nicky is in this chapter! and also kinda grin my way through all the vulgarities that came out of that kid's mouth. i shouldnt be, cause it's a SERIOUS scene but I cant help the cute! (kids cussing apparently is cute, go me!)

and you write a really believable crazy dumb person so good! i just dont understand how a person can still say i love you and is aware of who these ppl are and still have the guts to kill them. it's unsettling *shudders*

LOL I don't think you'll ever have to worry about me breaking that rule. I am with you, it's a little too close and too much bad mojo! The only way I could have done it was knowing that boys weren't really the boys but even still, that wasn't do enough. Of course, I managed to kill Mers with no probelm lmao but she's one of my best friends so she'll forgive me! I LOVE that picture so adorable!

Aww, it's so bittersweet. For real though, I do appreciate you coming back to this one and really putting in an effort to finish it for your readers, I think that's awesome. As far as the last chapter, I had a feeling that it was going to be Howie that would have to do the deed, as bad as this sounds, it just felt right that it ended that way.lol And AJ saves the day? I think fiction might be the only time that would actually happen, but it made for a good/sentimental action sequence. I heart BSB brotherly love. I'm also happy that we saw Nick and his father finally come together to understand each other. I was surprised about the graduation from the Academy twist, but he did basically figure out the Ariana stuff on his own, so it makes sense.
Call me an idiot but I didn't make the connection with the girls names until I read "Sel". I was thinking, aw she gave a shout out to Sel, I wonder if I'll see my name in here...yeah skipped over it. lmao I'm an idiot. Maybe I'm quick to assume, but I'm just going to say Samantha was me and thanks for the shout out. I'm not a Howie fan, but I have always liked Seattle. lmao Thanks again Mare, can't wait for current and future stories to come!

LOL aww poor Howie, Well at least I didn't make you the psycho Howie wife like I did to poor Mersey. I can't even tell you how close I came to breaking my own rule about not killing the BSB because I almost made Ariana shoot Howie instead and I thought about letting him die. (sorry Howie) but then I figured if anyone deserved to kill her, it would be him. I'm glad I went that way with it. I always knew I was going to end it the same way I started it with them all around her grave and I was also pretty sure I was going to have Nick do something in civil service. I just kept going back and forth between fireman and detective. Thanks for reading and supporting this story for such a long time! I promise I won't leave any other stories hanging for quite as long! Even though updates miught not always be as frequent as they are right now. :O)

Aw Mare! I love the ending. I'm sad that it's done but happy for you that you completed it :). I can't believe Nick joined the force too! And I'm glad that they all seem very happy :). Very cute that Nick ended up with Patty. And I'm glad that Howie ended up ok even though he needed to get away.

Okay, so the only problem with you being ahead of schedule, means that I have to wait longer for the next chapter unless you're ahead of schedule for that one as well. lmao And especially with this actually scary cliffhanger that you left...what the hell girl? lol To be in Nick's situation probably badly injured with the lighter fluid aspect, I'd be pissing myself.
What I really like about this chapter, is that I could actually feel, as I was reading, how tense the whole situation is. I could see the brothers racing down the road, I could see Howie's anger and fear on the phone, etc. It was really good.

Thanks so much for the compliment, Sam. I am always worrieed how the action sequences come off so i'm glad you were able to feel everything. I know I left it off with a really nasty cliffie lol but that's how this whole series has been so when I was trying to figure out a good cutting off point I had to go with the last scene. I'm hoping i'll get the next chapter up by Friday but it all depends on Lurks. Once I am done with chapter 15 (which I havent' started yet) then i'll move on to this one again. I promise you won't have to wait for too long. Like 3 years lol
