oh, and also, I just wanted to mention, but failed to do so, that I love the way you put the tiniest hints of humor in your writing. You're so very subtle with it that it catches me off guard and it's refreshing when I laugh at something even though I'm so caught up at the moment. I'm not talking about the characters doing or saying funny things, but I mean it's in the writing itself. It's your style. I was going to point out a specific instance, and now I can't remember what it was. But just know that I love the way you write! And whoever that teacher was that told you you shouldn't pursue writing is not one of my favorite people in the world and I'm glad that you didn't listen to them! It would be a sad world indeed without a little Chaos in it! Very well done and I am officially hanging on your every word, crossing my fingers and hoping for an update!

Author's Response: Wow, that's truly one thing I really try to keep up that I'm never really sure if I should or not, so thanks for assuring me the small bits of humor mixed in thing works. I always fear without it the stories might end up getting *too* bogged down with the angst. Plus I really do like to write in a style that seems more like actually hearing the character thinking. And yeah, while on one level I look back at that teacher and still seethe just a little bit (she *really* wasn't nice about it), I do also credit her with giving me the shove I needed to learn the craft a bit more and continue writing at least partially out of spite for her. lol.

*blink* *gasp* *gaping mouth hanging wide open* *tears filling my eyes as a tantrum ensues* THIS CAN'T BE ALL! Why oh why does it have to stop there????? That's just so... mean!

~faithfully hooked

Author's Response: I assure you the next chapter is already in progress! And I'm actually doing quite well on my "write a little bit each day" resolution for this year (*knock wood*). So can't say when, but the next update's in the works! (And thanks again for reviewing and assuring me that when I do post it at least one person--two now with Mare lol--will read it!)

aww, poor Sammy! I just want to go there and drag him far far away to safety! Ok, I'm finally getting back to this one, and I'm excited to read the rest and sad that there's so few chapters. Oh well, I'll take what I can get! You have a gift for emotion! You truly do. Somehow you don't just tell us what the characters are experiencing, you make us feel it. I envy you that, because it's extremely difficult to do. I always get so pulled in to your stories when I read them that I think my heart rate matches the main characters at any given moment. Wonderful. Plus, you're mysterious enough that I always feel like I just HAVE to click the next chapter. Which, I think I shall go do... right now...

Author's Response: Thanks again! Really, you're making my day. (And too funny, I didn't realize when I headed here to check out the reviews that it was you reviewing my fics before I read the Story of the Moment fic. LOL.) And yay about the heart-rate thing--I've done my job. *wishes that the dancing broccoli emoticon was available here*. Seriously, thanks so much for that!

Awww! *clears throat and begins to sing* Have I told... you lately... that I love you... Haha ok, well I love your style. Again, as always, this was wonderful. Very beautiful. I love how you show Dean's feelings toward Sam. Very true to the show. That, love, that responsibility, yet still at times that annoyance because he's stuck watching him. You did an awesome job with the emotions here, and it was just perfectly creepy enough! I'm so anxious to continue on and figure out WTF just happened. So, while I catch up, you do your best to keep writing! Love it as always!!! You're the best!

Author's Response: Aw thanks so much! While I'm a big fan of the horror genre, I really don't know that I'd have gotten into "Supernatural" so much at first if it weren't for the relationship between the brothers being *so* like that. (They totally remind me of my oldest sister and me actually--I credit Annie with raising me a lot more than my parents did, so we're *really* close, but yeah we still annoy the heck out of each other sometimes anyway. LOL.

What an excellent chapter and can I say that this description was awesome:

"I could already feel the hand of evil closing in on me, a bony finger tracing slowly down my spine. I could feel its cold breath on the back of my neck, as it whispered into my ear. Sammy."

 Loved that!

I have forgotten how incredible you are at descriptions and writing in first person overall. You do both so effortlessly. I  know you would say otherwise but to a reader that's how it comes off, effortless. You really have a talent for writing Ash. I hope it's something you really really pursue somewhere down the line. And the way you write Sam and Dean is almost perfect. I can really picture them saying and doing the things you are writing about. I think that's really hard to do when it comes to writing about characters like these two. It plays out just like the show. I loved the building intensity of this chapter and once again you had to leave us with a cliff hanger.

You know what that means? It means you need to update sooner than a year, okay? LOL I miss leaving you reviews Chaos! This felt good :O)

Awesome job Chaos! Wow so much tension in this chapter! You have me wondering what in the world happened. Excellent *hands you gold star*

Author's Response: Aw thanks! And the answer to that will probably be in the next chapter (or possibly the one two after that. Right now the next chapter is shaping up to be "the chapter that just won't end" so I may chop it in half and save it for the one after, but...eh. We'll see. Thanks for reading!

Okay I'm officially hooked on this one. You are a great writer and I love Supernatural (probably my favorite show right now) so I really can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thanks! And I know, the show's great. I actually didn't start watching until about mid season, but it totally got me hooked. And my muse finally likes a fandom enough to get me writing again. Woot! (lol) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Author's Response: Thanks, Mare! I really thought my muse had left me for a while there, but I guess it really likes the Supernatural fandom ;) lol.
