Such a beautiful story. I had to read the whole thing tonight, because I couldn't leave Hermione and Ron so open-ended. And, all I have to say is... Where is the sequel? Let's cure this curse, damnit!

Such a bittersweet story. Ron's emotions are so painfully real and it's amazing how you can just float right through the story. And you've got to admire the man's strategy of saying his best friend is a prick and just to let his feelings out. Nice and direct. Perfect. And poor Hermione. mortal peril is just not a trip in the park! ...I can't imagine what Molly was thinking when the three were off looking for the horocruxes...

I've been missing my Harry Potter series since reading the 7th book a few months ago. Not having another movie to watch out for until November, I decided that I might as well give fanfiction a try. I love Ron and Hermione and I've always been perturbed that Rowling would work so hard to bring two characters together and then vanish nineteen years between their first kiss and their marriage. So, I think this story is absolutely perfect. I love Ron showing angst instead of Harry for a change. Everyone is affected, not just the boy who lived. Love it. So much.

WOW, this is my first HP fan fic and I thought it was... in Ron's words 'Bloody Brillant'!!!!
It was almost like reading the actual HP novels minus the swearing and talk about sex lol but then again their older here than in the books so it fits perfectly.

Oh my God. I just reached the end of the story, and wow. I thought that chapter 11 had me bawling, but I'm practically hysterical right now. Thank God nobody's home to see me hunched over my laptop with a box of Kleenex. This was beautiful. The characterization were spot-on, the flashbacks integrated wonderfully and never felt forced or redundant, and the open ending works so much better than a tidy ending would have. I hope you write more stories, and I would be honored to have you beta my work. Arrgh, this is one of the stories that I won't be able to get out of my head for the next week, it was that powerful.

Aw...my gosh, you are so good...I love how all the flashbacks and present scenes tied in with one another...you're really good at that...and so glad that it's archived on Checkmated so now I can add it to my favorites...can't believe it's done! But that line at the end was brilliant..it made it complete. Hope to see more of your writing!
